Wolf Guy - Wolfen Crest

Ok so I have to say that I love this manga. Why? Because it is about a teenager (a lot older)who is a wolf and wolves are my favorite animals even though they are downgraded to vicious creatures when really they are kind and proud.

Before I go on let me explain some of the manga. It is about a Highschool (I think most the kids look like they are in college) student named Akire Inugami which Inugami he said, means wolf though I did look it up and it means dog or more like a God Dog. Anyway this kid is like immortal, people get pissed at him easily and they beat the living **** out of him, but he just can't seem to die. The funny thing is though he doesn't fight back at all, knives, bats, even chains from chainsaws are used to hurt him, but he doesn't want to fight back. All of this is because he says he doesn't like to fight strays. As I said before he is a wolf, well, a werewolf and he seems to relate so many things in a wolf like way. I don't want to give away to much so I will stop there, but this manga gets so interesting.

I read this manga as soon as it come out on OneManga with about 12 chapters out and I have been in love with it ever since, but what I didn't know was that it would get so popular.If you don't know what I am saying then let me explain. Two or three days ago I looked at it OM Rank and found it funny that it was 3 ranks above my favorite manga Blazer Drive which Wolfen Crest was exactly at 200 now I look at the rank today and it has already risen to 100!!!! Really? In just a few days this manga has risen so far up the OM rank. I will say that it hasn't gone undeserved as well.

The artwork in Wolfen Crest is amazing, I haven't seen such artwork before in a manga, it is almost like he spent a lot of time and effort on most of the pages. Don't believe me, here is a picture from it.

Now some pages you could say look "ugly", but I feel that sometimes it needs to look ugly because it relates to the seen. This manga isn't meant to be action pact, it is a seinen manga with some moments of sex, but only showing bare breasts.

Anyway here is the TL;DR version. It is a good manga that has risen a hundred ranks in only a few days so check it out, I think it is good.

The Popularity this manga is gaining is unhealthy. i freaking love this manga though. it has me on edge most of the time. the protagonist is a bad ass his teacher is hot and the bad guys are bad lol

I have to say this is a great Manga, I loved what he did to all the teachers and principles who called the top gang nothing but ravaging wolves and Akira Inugami let those adults have a mouth full on the true facts about Wolves

That probably is true about the popularity. If it is gaining fans at this speed then if it has one **** up it will probably hit a 90 degree fall in popularity, but hey what can you do. I will say, seeing this manga before it got so popular is as refreshing as sipping a drink of your ice cold favorite soda on a nice sunny day at the beach.

That's what I like about people, sometimes, in the real world and seeing that in the manga was almost enough to get me to jump up and agree. A man who is actually a wolf having his own name put with the same people who are beating him to a bloody pulp when it is because of his wolf pride as to why he hasn't actually fought back (and killed them).

Just to note you might want to put the url on chapter 24 since the last one we actual read was 23 and yes I did....yesterday

Pretty interesting how Inugami is an asshole even after what the student did, but then again him getting happy about it would be out of character of him.

This new guy Jin seems like he might be something of relationship with Inugami. Then again who ever didn't think that already when he is called wolf, has the same last name as Inugami, and looks just like him if he grew a beard and had weird eyes, needs urgent medical attention. >.>

Anyway, both chapters were good and Wolfen Crest has yet again left us with a cliff hanger that peeks our interest even more.
