My friend and I are watching the anime but it is all in Japanese :/ with English subtitles. I am loving the anime... hmmmm Is the Manga have more details on the characters and story?

I wouldn't know cause I've just read the manga, and haven't watched the anime. But I would recommend that you read it since you already started watching the anime.

The budget on the anime was severely underestimated, so the manga has a lot more to it. I haven't gotten around to reading the manga yet, so I can't say how much more it has, but I know that the anime ended a lot sooner than it should have.

Lol, soul eater anime sucks so bad, they change the story so much and they make Shura look like a ****ing wimp. Anime is a big no-no

Soul Eater is a great series, its pretty original despite being of a genre thats been done a lot. The characters are fleshed out and the plot is awesome. The anime is pretty good to, animation was always fluid and crisp. However the original story they made towards the end wasnt that epic, but it was alright. The manga is truly amazing, since it does everything the anime does but 10x better so I hope they adapt the manga's true plot into a new anime.
