Over the recent manga Danzo has the Sharingan. He also wants the Byakugan. He wants these eyes for some reason. Yet we dont know if he wants the Rinnegan, but why is Danzo looking for them. Is it gathering the 3 doujutsu can defeat Madara and the Jubi?

Lets start off, Danzo got his Sharingan from Shisui. Danzo did not unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan yet. Danzo maybe was friends Ao years back, but now Danzo wants to unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan of Shisui's and gain Ao's Byakugan eye. I only think it can be 2 eyes Sharingan & Byakugan.

Its very low that he may get the rinnengan by searching for Nagato's hideout and asking Konan to hand over one of Nagato's eyes. Konan may refuse and Danzo may kill her to get Nagato's eye. But this means he has to have a third eye spot which could be at his forehead. I think he wants all the doujutsu for something. Something that may end Madara's plans for good.

What do you people think?

Im starting to think Danzo is a clone of Madara.

The reason Danzo wants the Byakugan is because he doesn't want a foriegner to use it's power. Hyuga clan is currently the strongest clan with a ppowerful kekai genjai that he wouldn't want to fall into enemy hands.

Remeber danzo is not evil. He wants what's best for konoha.

I agree with that. But I think he may use it. Not really sure of it..

I'm not saying he wouldn't use it. But it's more likely that he doesn't want it to fall into the wrong hands.

Unless kishi screws with us again. :/

Danzo wants what HE thinks is best for Konoha. And right now, he seems to think Konoha has better chances if he is Hokage. He may try to use the Byakugan along with his Sharingan to force his way to Hokage. It would be difficult, but he could pull Root out and use it as the base of his power to become Hokage.

I don't think he will use Root to ascend to Hokage. He has said that he wants what is best for the Leaf, and he does go about it in his own special way, but I think he wants the village to accept him willingly.

He wants all the eyes so he can use them annd be powerful, sort of like a trophy. Danzou is shown to be a sinister character, so I doubt he would try to stop the Jubi unless it was to save himself.

Matsumoto@: I actually agree with you. He maybe wants people to expect him as Hokage but Naruto isnt taking it well. And with Sasuke last time on his trail. What does this point out about Danzo. What and who is he? Thats the last question.. We only know he's been in war,stole shisui's eye and arm, ordered the uchiha to be killed, and has part in the ANBU and Elders. What else?

No, Danzo cares about the village, he has said so before. And I don't think he would have as many followers if he didn't care about the village to some degree. But he may like himself more lol

Exactly, he puts himself before the village. Kakshi is going to be the new Hokage now anyways since Danzo fled.

Not necessarily. He might not be chosen. And Danzo might actually become Hokage, Konoha doesn't know anything about what happened at the Summit yet.

Well we may not know. Could be somewhere secret, or the place where the Jubi's power was sealed in. That little chamber place.
