Chapter 563: One man, One heart
Marco rushes to Squad. Squad explains his actions.
During this war, Akainu contacted Squad, and told him that Whitebeard and Sengoku made a deal, that they won't kill Ace and the Whitebeard pirates in exchange for wiping out the New World pirates. (meaning, to offer them as sacrifice of war)

Squad's pirate crew was wiped out in the past by Roger.
Marines knew that, and that's why they contacted Squad, thinking that they'll be able to use him for their scheme.
Sengoku most likely revealed about Ace being Roger's son publically for this intent.
And as if to prove all this, the PXs were only attacking the New World pirates.
(into making Squad believe the marines' words)

Whitebeard realized everything that just took place.
"Even then, you are all still my sons!" He exclaims.

Marco sees how Whitebeard took the blow directly, and realizes how weakened Whitebeard had become since his prime.
Whitebeard responds to him by saying "You can't be the most powerful man forever. There's only one heart for every man."
Whitebeard is enraged at the marines' dirty schemes.
The war resumes, and Sengoku gets ready.

I figured Whitebeard wouldn't die, but any battles involving Whitebeard to come will be fought with difficulty. Also, RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- No One Piece pisses me off.

Damn Sengoku and his sneaky sexy ways!I aways wondered about those medical apperatices Whitebeard usually had on himself, wonder how sick he is and how bad it is. This war may be about him passing the torch on to someone.

EPIC, This was the BEST CHAPTER EVER! I love Whitebeard and especially the quote in my signature. I also love the remark Sengoku made in the end!

Good and epic chapter.
Yeah, I also noticed how Whitebeard's medical appliances and nurses disappeared. :'(
I was expecting WB to kill Squad, but I think what actaully happened was better.
Akainu and Sengoku need to get pwned.

Not much Luffy or fighting though, but even One Piece makes explaination chapters good.

As usual, Oda ends with some sort of epic picture and tells us "Tune in next time, 2 weeks from now." >_<

But seeing the World Strongest Man already in pain makes me chuckle when Zorro can be gravely cut and still throw a building.

Well, Zoro was also in pain when he was cut and threw a building. I bet Whitebeard could still kick the ass of quite a few of the stronger guys before even being in to much pain to continue.

Come on man, give Whitebeard a break. Did you not read his speech? Though the world may still consider him the world's strongest man, he is older, and sick, like he said," one can not be the strongest forever.

Yes. But, he's not that weak. He's still definately strong enough to take on some of the strongest there. Though, I think he may fall to an Admiral should he face one, possibly even a Shichibukai or two. That's with the injury though, if he didn't have it then I wouldn't say that.

I admit whatever he said was cool and all.

But sometime whatever ODa comes up with, a lot of you will blurt out saying, " OMGOSH SOO EPIC !!!11!!one!!! EPICNEZZZ !!1" when it's so not.

He's a ****ing ADMIRAL. WHy the hell would a WB's ally trust an ADMIRAL ?? WB is known to protect his so called children to the extreme.
