Anyone ever heard of it? ANyone at all? Or has anyone read it? I'm a big fan of it so I'm curious as to if there're any fairy tail fans out on this island.

Fairy Tail (フェアリーテイル ,Fearī Teiru?) is a Japanese manga series by Hiro Mashima. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 23, 2006 where it is still on-going. The individual chapters are being collected and published in tankōbon volumes by Kodansha, with 12 released as of October 2008. The series follows the adventures of the sorceress Lucy Heartphilia after she joins the Fairy Tail Guild and partners with Natsu Dragneel, who is searching for the dragon Igneel.

The series is licensed for an English language release in North America by Del Rey Manga, which began releasing the individual volumes on March 25, 2008.

A young sorceress, Lucy Heartphilia, travels to the land of Fiore to join the magical Fairy Tail Guild. Along the way, she meets Natsu Dragneel, a young boy who is looking for a dragon named Igneel. Shortly after their meeting, Lucy is abducted by Bora of Prominence, who was posing as Salamander of Fairy Tail, to be sold as a slave. Natsu rescues her and reveals that he is a dragon slayer and a true member of Fairy Tail Guild. He offers her membership into the guild, which she accepts, and they become a team performing various missions for the Fairy Tail guild.

Natsu Dragneel (ナツ ドラグニル ,Natsu Doraguniru?) is the main male character of the series. His partner is Happy. Natsu has a carefree and reckless nature and constantly bickers with other members of the guild. He has a competitive relationship with frequent teammates Gray Fullbuster and Erza Scarlet; Gray tends to insult Natsu, prompting frequent skirmishes, while Erza, an S-class mage, represents a way for Natsu to prove how strong he is. Despite his reckless and headstrong nature, Natsu is a skilled tactician and pick up on an opponent's abilities and weaknesses very quickly. He is also vehemently loyal to Fairy Tail, and does not allow anyone to sully its name. Natsu suffers from motion sickness from all modes of transportation, including trains, carriages, and people carrying him on their back.

Natsu's nickname is "Salamander", and he is often recognized by his pink hair, scale-skin scarf, and fire magic. He was raised by the dragon, Igneel, who taught him how to talk, write, and use an ancient style of magic known as "Dragon Slayer". Due to using fire-related magic, Natsu can eat any flame other than his own for nourishment. He can emit fire from any part of his body. The size and power of the flame is a direct result of Natsu's mood, so when properly motivated in a battle he is recognized as one of the strongest mages in Fairy Tail. During the series Natsu consumes some Aetherion, captured in solid form in a magic crystal, which greatly improves his abilities; his skin becomes scaly, his speed increases, and the strength of his fire is greatly increased. Natsu's age is unknown, for he, as well as Gazille, was unable to pass through an enchantment barrier with an eighty-year old age limit.It is unclear why this is so, and Natsu himself even questions the matter.
