wen dende made the wish that every1 that was killed by frieza should cum bak 2 life. the saiyans like bardock and others neva came bak. or did they but they neva showed them return.

Wow... Ive noticed that, but I have no idea how to answer it...
Im guessing that the wish only brought back people who died in certain planets or something..??? Either that, or after a certain amount of years, the dragon can't bring you back from the dead..???

You all are all right about the movie thing, but the fact is that Frieza really did kill those Saiyans, and they were not brought back... I wonder why tho...???

I'm always confused by this. Sometimes it seems like they don't need to breathe air, especially at times when they're just hanging out in space but everyone is constantly panting and such during fights. Freeza also almost drowned Goku at one point during their fight when he held him underwater. I guess it's just an inconsistency.

This is correct. If they were revived but the planet was gone thus they die anyway. The only Saiyans off the planet were Goku, Raditz,Nappa and Vegeta.

Bardock and Broly do not matter. They are movies. Bardock only appeared in one panel of the DBZ manga and never returned.
As for Nappa and Vegeta no. They were in space in there Spaceships.
I don't recall ever seeing them in space outside of Spaceships.

I didn't mean flying around in space. There was an episode of when Nappa and Vegeta visited the planet of the bug people (I don't know the actual name). As Vegeta and Nappa left that planet (after they saved it), not even close to the planet's atmosphere but far away from it. They both got out of their space pods, floated in space, while Nappa was telling Vegeta how they were heroes. Both didn't care about the fame, so Vegeta then shot two beams out of his fingers and destroyed the planet. And yes, that was canon. So by this evidence, they can breath in space if they got out of their space pods and talked to each other while floating, then attack and destroyed the bug people's planet. If they could do that, they could fly around in space if they want. But they don't because it would take forever to get to their destination. The space pods they used travels at light speeds.
I count that Bardock movie as canon even though it does not mention it in the manga, because it was how Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta or how the back story was supposed to be told on how he destroyed Planet Vegeta. That story told some canon events as well. Like how Frieza feared the legend of the Super Saiyan and why he destroyed the Saiyans' homeworld. They could have added it in the manga if they wanted, but I guess they couldn't do it. The damage was done and the story was too far progressed to even fit it in there. Unless you want flashbacks in the Anime canon, like how Naruto does it for more filler.

@ omegaknight: the dragon of namek and earth(shenron and porunga) can only bring back those who died in a year the saiyans were killed 20 years ago
example:
in buu saga goku could not wish him self back because he died 7 years ago. thats the reason why old kai had to sacrifice his life for goku.

imho the atmosphere at the late planet Vegeta was allowing them to fly pretty far from it and not die.

As far as Goku concerned, he can drown, he needs air, he can't breath in open space.

The autor did not pay attention to such trivial matters. We didn't see hundreds of episodes about saiyans from planet Vegeta(if you understand what i mean), but we have seen them about Goku and he cannot breath in space. If Gokus gene structure is same as theirs the law should work on them.
About the revival thing i'dont remember what he exactly said :cry:. But every revival that the dragon did was of the people that died recently if my memory serves me right).
The dragon specificly stated he can only revive people that have been killed within the past year. i specificly remember him saying this. im probaly the only one that remembers this cause i watched every episode for the first time this summer. also i think the saiyans breathing in space was just a blooper just like trunks and his sword (all the z fighters killed by androids, including piccalo, so there was no way he could have gotten the dragonballs to open tapions box, but trunks still somehow has his sword)
