thats a nice one but personally i think you should make one yes it would be cheaper but if you made one yourself you could get whatever you need  but im sayin this again IT IS A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE TO BUILD ONE but worth it

I built my computer... It's not hard.
This (newegg.com) is where I bought all my components. :)

mmm....cool, but i agree with ibbs, custom building ure PC is better because its 100% what u want/personalised
for me i buy the part by part, and eventually putting those parts togeter myself, i love the put-togeter part, its fun(for me)
the only problem it may be more expensive, especially if ure hirein som1 to do all that 4 u:nod:

Build a laptop? Sorry, but you fail at life. I know alot of hardcore geeks, and I don't know any who'd -build- a laptop. You fail at computers, good sir.
And so do all you others that said he should build his own.

Agreed, I have 15 computers 80% of which were built by me, but I'd never even think of building a laptop, seriously.
That's also why I don't like them.

i've looked up the parts....
you can build a laptop for half the price.... if you transer over an OS you already have, and not counting the hard drives
or for that price, you can buld one almost twice as good....
but i have yet to see anywhere that supplies the laptop's chasis by itself...
[edit] though you could make on -$50-60

You don't use standard parts for a laptop, you generally have to use specific notebook-styled parts. There is absolutely no way you could make a laptop for half of 300 dollars. 150? Really? Do you know anything about technology?

The only good laptop is a MacBook.
And building a laptop for $150 oh my God. Laptop parts are more expensive than building a Desktop. You're looking at $400 on your own.
