All the tools you need to start learning writing/editing code.
comes with and IDE for BASIC/C#/C++ and comes with a web developer IDE

TIPS N TRICKS
WHAT U NEED: run
if it is not in ur start menu: thenu can find it in task manager, right under the "file"menu
change ur WINDOWS registered user/organization

"run regedit.exe and find your way to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
in the right bane there should be:"registed owner" and registered organization"
change these values to whatever you want
then "run" winver.exe to check it out

"run" msinfo32.exe to learn everything about your computer

"run" msconfig
to adjust the boot settings of your computer
do not touch the first tab unless u are undoing previously changed settings

the "boot" tab lets you control how your computer boots

"timeout" is how long you want it to wait for your selection after an improper shutdown until it chooses "start windows normally"
"noguiboot" lets u boot with the aurora "boot" screen.
sorry, but i have yet to figure out how to disable it altogether
"advanced options"box: click this to select how many processors to start your computer on[if you have DUO/QUAD]
and maximum RAM memory[only goes up to 2.75GB for 32-bit i think... touching the other stuff in there is not reconmended

I think that may belong in another section with lots of pictures and crap...

but yes: I use Photoshop CS2. end of story.

It took me months to learn to use this program the "proper" way

it has all the tools u need to make sig's GIF's Wallpaers, art, or just have fun with it.

NO, I am not gonna spill all my secrets to making sigs, wallpapers, or Gif's

but if you rlly want, here is a hint: when making GIFs with this program
DO EVERY ACTION IN A DIFFERENT LAYER, and mkae all the layers BEFORE you start making seting up the frames

to view all files:
as mentioned by my pal in the other thread:
control panel\folder options\view tab

tell it to show hidden system files and folders AND most important for expert users[tell you why later]
tell it NOT to hise the file extensions for know file types.
this way: if the file does not work, you can try it under a different extension...
even .tmp files can work if you know what the file is for[exe, mpg, wmv, wav, mp3, zip, etc]

Increase performance:
right click on "computer" in the start menu:and click on "properties"
click on""advanced options", and from there go to the performance section, and click on "settings...". eay, right? wrong.
if you turn the wrong stuff off, you may loase the estheticly pleasing visual effects u love so much..
SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU TURN OFF: not. you can always turn them all back on later and undo everything you did.:)

from the visual effect tab: click on the "advanced" tab: here you can change your pagefile: a section of your hdd that acts like RAM
DO NOT PUT MORE THAN YOUR DRIVE CAN CARRY.
if your HDD can't handle more, don't put more, for increasing this shall take space on your Hard Disc, though it will increase performance.

in Control Panel, double click power options
choose the plan you have selected, click on "change plan settings"
then click on"change advanced power settings..."
the only thing you should need to change is near the bottom:"processor power management"
double-click it: the double-click "minumum processor state" ad set the property to 0%

this will greatly help you: not only will it put less load on your processor: but it will keep it cooler,
and it will move faster when you actually request of it to do something intentive
