uh-uh! Don't gimme that bull! The Sharingan IS bloodline. One that ALL Uchihas have in their blood, but must go through lotsa training to achieve it. Super Saiyan, however, is not just a bloodline that is in all Saiyans. Not any Saiyan can achieve the form of Super Saiyan.

How can you say SSJ isn't a bloodline. If a half saiyan could do it, why couldn't any full blood do it. I fail to see your reasoning.

Someone was comparing the Rasengan to SSJ. I said that SSJ was a bloodline and Rasengan was a technique that can be achieved by anyone. (technically) Then you went batshit crazy on me saying that SSJ wasn't a bloodline.

How the :cussing: does Kono knowing the Rasengan make it a less cool move? I think that that's freakin' awesome! Its pretty obvious that Konohamaru would train extremely hard to fight for the title of Hokage. I mean, look: Konohamaru became a Konoha-nin at the age of ten. Naruto and even Neji became ninjas at twelve. Twelve! Now tell me, how is Kono NOT an excellent shinobi? OK, it took Naruto like two weeks to learn the jutsu with barely any grasp on chakra control etc. Konohamaru has had a pretty good grasp of that stuuf most likely. We know this because, well, Ebisu's a freakin' rulebook-type person.

And Rasengan is not a wind type jutsu. Its pretty obvious because Naruto had to ADD THE WIND ELEMENT for Fuuton Rasengan, retards... Rasengan is basically a mini Rotation in the palm of your hand.:nod:


Dragonball is a different case. In dragonball there really wasn't such character depth as there is in Naruto. Dragonball was more about the action than the plot. They used the SSJ to escalate power levels more quickly for the happy ending. SSJ is a bloodline and could be activated with the right emotion. Rasengan requires hardwork and dedication. If it showed all of Konohamaru's hard work previous to this and all he went threw and if he had a way bigger part in the story, I really wouldn't have minded. Just throwing this in there cheapens Naruto.

Bardock wasn't a SSJ because of his strength. A SSJ is usually around the power level of Frieza. I don't know why you are saying it isn't a bloodline. Are you saying that the Truffles can be SSJ? I think you are mistaken on the meaning of bloodline.

Vegeta turned SSJ after seeing Goku turn SSJ he himseld turned into one because he had the NEED to surpass Goku the whole brawl on Namek if pure want could turn someone SSJ vegeta would have been one already. Cause on Namek he just wanted to be a super saiyan to for his own purposes. Back on Earth he turned SSJ out f the NEED to be more powerful and to surpass Goku and the Androids.

Bardock might have needed it but he didn't have enough power. As for Vegeta wanting to be SSJ, yeah he wanted it, but to Vegeta he needed it. He needed to be better than Goku. It was that rage and sorrow of trying so hard and not being able to accomplish it that sent him over the edge.

i heard somewhere a few times actually. i dont know if it wuz in the anime, manga or an interview with akira but anywayz this is wat i heard:

the reason why there's only a handful of saiyans that have turned into a super saiyan is because all of those saiyans had their tail removed thus giving them the potential to achieve the next level of saiyan power.

it makes sense actually. all saiyans have relied on the power of the ozaru to become more powerful that they never thought bout removing them. and no one was strong enough (except frieza) to remove them or cut them off.

but i have no tangible proof of this. but i am 99% sure i heard it from one of those reliable resources.

oh and super saiyan IS a bloodline limit. u dont see krillin goin super saiyan. super saiyan is LIMITED to those who's BLOOD belongs to the SAIYAN LINE and or race

Yes any sayian can be a super sayian if they are their natural limit and have a need not want to do something. the legendary supersayian thing only once every one thousand years a LEGENDARY super sayian would be born meaning he would have super sayian powers beyond a super sayian meaning his first stage would compare to ss2 or ss3. ss is a bloodline limit tho i can see ur logic on freeza saga and the creater w/e.

Saiyans can tap into Super Saiyan, it's their races power. A "bloodline limit" I guess you could say. And like Best101 said, you need at least 50% Saiyan blood.
