Advanced members and senior members established members who have earned the rights to a larger avatar, more PM space, custom titles, and an advanced member medal.

Who can become an advanced member?
Anybody that has been registered at the forum for least three months AND has at least 3,000 posts, 2,000 rep points, 100 comments in image gallery, and 50 approved images in the gallery.

How do I join?
Once you meet all the requirements, just go to your User CP, click "Group Memberships (http://forums.saiyanisland.com/profile.php?do=editusergroups)" and select the group (advance or senior) whose requirements you meet and press join.

What do you mean by "comments"?
Comments mean that you must comment on other people's images. So you must comment on 100 images.

What do you mean by "approved images"
Your image has to be approved first and this usually takes no more than a day (sometimes images are approved immediately). Your image will be rejected if it's dimensions are too small, or if it contains inappropriate content. for the one 100 comments u mean we have to comment 100 times or get 100 comments from the pictures we upload?

when we upload do they have to be ours or can they be randomly found?and how do we know if there isn't already an idntical picture?

I agree but why do we even have those requirements(comments and images). Plus the fact that some people can only come here with there PSPs or WIIs(like yoru and soi fong). It would be hard for them to do it...

Okay honestly...this will really screw up. Not everyone can draw and the only other option is getting pics from someone else. PHP predicted 400 active members. 400x50=20000. So that means 20000 different pics. So I doubt everyone will upload different pics. I think you should either lower it(to 10 or something) OR just take it off...

The comments is also unneeded. Both of them have nothing to do with seniority. Just take them off and leave 1000 post,1000 rep points, and 3 months.

It's not even the difficulty of finding the material, it's a matter of what we are here for.

Some of us want the extended signature character limit, avatar size, etc. but we don't care for the image gallery so much. Those people will not be allowed to become "Senior Members" because they want to contribute to the SI community in other ways, just not the image section.

I have just added 50 HQ images, every image is unique and was not uploaded before.
I have added 100 comments, and every comment has something to do with the image i posted on.

It will be flooded indeed. That's because everyone wants it NOW. I'll just keep posting my comments and uploading fanart. I'm not quitting right here.

Saiyan just said that it's not supposed to be something that everyone gets. I get his point and started posting and uploading. You have wasted some of your time allready, Taintedlight. Search Photobucket accounts for fanart. It helped me.

Well that wasn't so hard. I've uploaded 50 images and now all I have to do is finish the comments. Its pretty easy and most of them were cosplays. Just use a site like photobucket or deviantart to find them.

The image things ruins it in my opinion. Now we will have senior members like Yoruichi not being able to join. Even though she was here for a long long time. We all know she is a senior member...that can't join the senior member group...that makes alot of sence. It shouldn't be called the "Senior Members Group" It should just be called, "Advanced Member Group"...seriously.

wow so much work but i find the upload of 50 pics not a good one as there are around 9000 members here and i dont think they have 9000x50=450,000 naruto or anime pics on the net thats is kinda steep. Maybe advance members are ppl who contribute with paypal payments or something but that is kinda unfair with the pic upload.

and if one is to make pics its gonna be an extreme burden making 50 pics in Photoshop or gimp that is a high stake if u ask me.

My advice is to just give it some time eventually you'll hav 50 uploads in no time...


already in one day we had a member do it.. :laugh: and that very member complained at first about the whole uploading the pics thing... it was easier than they thought...


Even if you post just 5 pics a day, in only 10 days you will have 50 uploads... or you can go that extra mile and post 10 pics a day, and end up posting 50 pics in only 5 days...


You dont hav to rush to be an advance member... 50 pic uploads isnt as intense as it seems... take it slow... and if you put in some time and effort... you may just become an advance member... :D

if you've made some cool fan art pics, you can flaunt them there by uploading them there.
