Uchiha Sasuke is given WAY too much power in the second arc. The ****er defeated two Akatsuki members single-handedly and defeated Orichimaru, the same man who toyed with Naruto when he was in level four mode, also by himself. He even was able to stop the Kyuubi's chakra from enetering Naruto! He is powerful enough to grant HUGE interest from Tobi, and is most likely going to be quite successful in his mission to invade Konoha, the most powerful village nation. And what has Naruto, the chosen one done? Absolutely nothing. Oh, except for developing a jutsu he can't use without practically killing himself. Yeah, I still don't know why the show's called Naruto, honestly. It seems like it focuses a lot more on Sasuke.

First of all for the first one, Sasuke doesn't care about evil and good, he only does what he wants and will work with whoever can help him the most at the moment. Once he killed Danzo and the other two(if he succeeds, I mean) then he'll think about betraying Tobi, but not until his mission is succeeded. As for the second one, I doubt the Kyuubi will kill him because not only is Naruto trying to no longer use the Kyuubi's chakra, but Sasuke has proven that he can actually stop the Kyuubi's chakra from flowing into Naruto. Lol. Naruto is less powerful(at least what we are shown of his power) but he is more popular. He has a bridge named after him. He has met and befriended more people that sasuke. His father was a hokage. Has the kyubi. A force known to all. But also sasuke is more weaker than before his fight with itachi. He has no curse seal, no orochimaru, and less chakra so his mangekyou is very taxing. Naruto has lot chakra. If have no chakra how can you fight?

sasuke is not overpowered (so to speak) he was stronger then naruto before he got his mongakyo. i think that Naruto if he trains like sasuke ( with a really great goal) then he would be as strong if not stronger then sasuke. Unlike sasuke naruto's goals have shifted alot through out the series. Starting with wanting to be Hokage to be respected, to wanting to be Hokage to protect others (in the Naruto vs Garra fight) to trying to bring sasuke back to the village,Naruto's goal had not been as motivating as revenge.Compared to sasuke the overall willpower needed for him to realize his main goal (which was to get sasuke) took much less strength. I'm not saying naruto is weak but for all the Hokage to be strong they had a greater goal then most, whether it was to form a village, or stabilize that village in a time of war they were all greater then saving a friend that didn't need saving.Though I think J-man's death will be more then enough motivation:D
