View Full Version : Whats your prediction on Naruto Chapter 403?

In chapter 403,Naruto had a flashback about his last encounter with Itachi which occurred many manga chapters ago.Well,for those who read the chapter but need a quick recap,here's what happened:

Naruto encounters Itachi in the forest(during the search for Sasuke and his group) and Itachi claims that he just wants to talk and then they do,about why Naruto wants to bring him back so bad.Frankly,we all know Naruto well enough to know that he responds with the usual "I'm gonna bring him back no matter what" blah, blah, blah,crap.Afterwards,Itachi smiles and then gives Naruto some kind of power which is obviously for the sake of stopping Sasuke or Madara.

Back to the question,what's your take on the power Itachi gave to Naruto?Also,if you don't mind,explain why too.

Well,for mine,I'd say its probably a genjutsu or ability to help him either suppress the Sharingan's power,if he ever had to go against Sasuke or Madara.Why? Because Itachi knew that Madara or Sasuke(when he gained it) could use Mangekou Sharingan to capture and control the Tailed Beasts for their own purposes.

I think he means prediction as in the power Itachi gave Naruto Orochi

i think its the power to control not only his kyubi, but other kyubis. why? itachi cares about the village, he knows what akatsuki is planning on doing and that naruto is the destined child, he proved that when he gave him that power in my opinion. he doesnt want to see konoha destroyed

Thats a good one but the "controlling the other Tailed Demons" threw me off because he'd need mangekou sharingan for that.

Btw,Kyubi is Nine Tails in japanese so its singular not plural.

Example:the 1 tailed raccoon is Shikaku.
