An incredibly original manga about people who have the ability to turn into weapons and the users that wield them. There are witches, the Soul Reaper himself, and a wonderful class of characters that make it an automatic classic for me.

Soul eater is one of my favorite manga. Its funny and very original. I loves it!

Oh man, what's not to love about this series. Original, funny, great plot that keeps you wanting to read more and more, you grow to love every character, the art is superb and just gets better and better, and very well-pulled off action sequences.

The anime is doing just as good, they picked the perfect music for this funky series, and usually I find the action parts in anime boring, but they animate it so well.

If there's a theme for this series, it's insanity. It deals with the craziness that we all feel creep into our minds from time to time.

There's one thing that I'm worried about, though: BONES says its only going to do 51 episodes :confused: The manga is still going. I swear, if they put thier own crappy little ending on the anime like what happened to Claymore's anime... :mad:

Yeah, I heard that about the anime, too. Oh well. I love all the voices for the anime, except for Soul's. Its a little off how I expected to sound. But Black Star's is perfect to a T.

Yeah, its friggin' awesome! It actually has more than four episodes out, at least 7, that much I know, but probably much more than that. I actually don't watch much of the anime, but I'm completely caught up with the manga and its one of my favorite mangas.

Soul Eater primarily revolves around students known as meisters or technicians at the Shinigami Weapon Meister Vocational School, located in Death City. The school is run by Shinigami, the God of Death himself, as a training facility for weapons created by shinigami and the human wielders of those weapons, the meisters. Each meister has at least one demon weapon companion which has both a weapon and human form. Shinigami created the school as an organization that enforces peace in order to prevent the rebirth of the "kishin", evil demon gods that nearly destroyed everything by plunging the world into chaos. Human souls that have become evil by straying from the path of humans have a high risk of becoming kishin, so evil humans are constantly being hunted down and killed by the students trained at Shibusen. The ultimate goal of the students with their weapons is to have their weapons defeat and eat the souls of ninety-nine evil human souls and one witch's soul which will dramatically increase the power of the given weapon and thus be capable of being used by shinigami. In order to ensure this is done in a timely manner, all students and weapons attend classes regularly and are given homework or supplementary lessons to further their training. The meisters have a rating system that goes from one to three stars which usually measures soul energy. xDTo come up with something as creative and original as Soul Eater is amazing. All the characters are amazing and unique in their very own way. The art style is incredible. And the storyline is amazing. It took a little while for the storyline to kick in, but when it did. Oh boy did it kick in!:thumbsup:
