That just made me mad right there. Well I thought overall the chapter was very good. We might of figured out Pain's/Nagato's location. Danzou being a heartless Bas****. And Tsunade being in good use. Well I would think that this would have been the perfect time to show the Kakashi Gaiden. Cuz that would have given Kishi a few weeks off, but he already showed it. Well I think one of the slugs will keep him from the brink of death, but that is just my opinion.

i have to say im kinda dissapointed.. kakashi ms only took out the nail instead of hittin it and pain. choichi dad died on what seemd to be not such a powerful technique, and they havent found out about pains secret from the dead guys brain... i dunno what hes plannin but i dont like the direction the manga has taken in this chapter... i dont think i could handle an early kakashi death or a permanent immbolization of his body from 2 much chakra usage...

I believe after Kakashi hit Deva with the Chidori, when everyone was blown away. Choza didn't take the nail for him, we now know that. But it's kind of stupid Chouji's still fine though....

Hmmm... I just noticed that both Jiraiya and Kakashi died(?) after a sacrifice to get one step closer to figuring out Pain. Yet Jiraiya's death was more dramatic thats probably why I dont think Kakashi is actually completely and utterly dead

Kakashi ain't gonna die. He was just "hallucinating!" It's pretty normal for a person to hallucinate when his stamina is depleted almost going to flat, just like when a person is dehydrated. Kakashi's chakra level was sort of dehydrated, and so he went hallucinating. But he's not dead yet. I swear!

Well....Kakashi dying is gonna really drop a deuce on my theory. I definitely figured Tsunade was dying before Kakashi, but there is still a very very very very very slim possibility that he will miraculously live through this. If he does die though, it's gonna go down as the lamest death of a major character as far as I'm concerned.

It also sucks that we have to wait so many weeks now until more episodes are made.

Naruto is going to beat every single villian out there from now on.
Thats why Kishimoto is killing off all the other chars so Naruto can be the hero in the end.
If that happens u noe that in the final chapter of the whole series cant end without him dying right? Kishimoto is making the series focus on everybody dying and Sasuke and Naruto beating people way beyond their level not by skill not by luck but by some bull or some gay ass junk happening. This series is getting predictable. Alli care about is what madara and pain are, Danzou's plans, wtf happened to kabuto, the identity of the 3rd eye dojutsu, the light dark chakra thing, tailed beast origins, Killer Bee and who gonna hook up with who( if this is the way it continues Naruto is gonna get sakura and Hinata is suicide cuz she got rejected). By the power of god if u reply to my post bout how im dumb or stupid or u suck and come with some gay ass post i aint gonna hold back and i will FLAME the crap outta u.

Kishi is on hiatus because practically everything that he was about to write in the next chapters were already under speculation in this forum. There's nothing new that could come out from his imagination.

On a different note, I think Captain Yamato has discovered Danzou's meeting with the Anbu's. There's going to be both an internal (coup d'etat) and external struggle in Konoha.

Um, just an observation: Tsunade has used up much of her stored chakra by healing the casualties. I could see that her boobs are getting smaller. My theory is that her boobs are the receptacles of her enormous chakra. Kishi, don't you think this is a cool theory for you to consider? Nyahahaha...

1. There's no way Kakashi is gonna die. Not gonna happen. C'mon guys, there are SO many things that he could do to make this particular fight WAY more interesting. Somebody earlier in another post said gravity wouldn't stop Shikimaru, I agree. IF he is strong enough to grab him THEN I would bet it's a short game for God Realm. Of course he does control things by just looking so does Shikimaru's Shadow thingy stop his power...??? who knows...

2. I'm thinking that once they figure out Pein's bodies are all dead they are going to do some "frequency disruption" jutsu and they will be able to either take over control, or possibly block the connection rendering them useless to Pein. Cutting the strings on the puppets so to speak. It would be cool for them to figure out some way to hit him with some kind of "feedback overload" and cause him some damage... hehehe... teach him to send that weak crap into Konoha. For REAL, 6 guys take on a village.... gotta be something wrong with that scenario. Konoha is a VERY strong and diverse village that seem to be crawling with very hand-in-hand compatible shinobi that make some pretty interesting teams with incredible powers. I think the only serious damage is when the guy shot off a big launch of rockets... granted that's pretty serious, but, it seems like Pein made an unbelievable tactical error by frontal assaulting a village that's pretty freakin strong.

Anyways.. that's my 2 thoughts worth. And what a crappy way to take off and leave us to guess when they will be back with the next manga !!! You're not gonna be on vacation forever dude, at least give us something for a time frame on the next release date... a week... 20 days... a month... something !!

Guy's your getting way to overworked I doubt Kakashi is really gonna die I mean he seriously need's some medical treatment but hey IMO the worst thing that's gonna happen to him is he's gonna end up in the hospital for like a month lol... Y did kakashi have to save Iruka, Iruka could have died it would have been sad naruto would have gorn ape shit when he found out the general result of one sadness and the loss of one of Naruto's loved ones/masters dies without it being Kakashi who i like the madest ninja ever! As I see it the whole chapter is full of bad news. I guess that there are 2 possibilities of what will happen with Kakashi:

Either he will get saved by a slug (which I don't believe will happen, since its sort of regular and expected- we all know how Kishi loves to suprise us with certain turns of events)

or

Kakashi's body will be picked up by Pain to include him in his body collection. I can't help of thinking it over and over cause it all matches: the god realm observing kakashi's moves as he performs the time space jitsu, the story from the interrogation that Pain is assembling bodies etc. And to tell you the truth I prefer to see Kakashi dead that to be a puppet of Pain.:cry::cry:

1-Yo, Konan (the woman who uses paper jutsu) is still in Konoha, the scene with her in the Rain village was the interrorgation team searching through the memories of the rain ninja that Jiraiya captured with his toad and sent to Konoha.
2-Yamato is not part of ANBU root, and even if he was, why would they have a sticker saying that on their walls to remind them lol, remember, ANBU root is where they train kids, but Yamato was with orochimaru for part of his youth and seems completely normal compared to the Root guys who have no emotion.
3-I'm not sure how chojis dad died, but he obviously did something to protect choji, even though we didnt see much of his dad in the story, its stil kind of sad..
yeah thats right, the real pein is not in Konoha, he just controls them from afar.....

Kakashi will not die, he's too damn cool to die XD I also think Sai will end up fighting against Danzou and his old Root teammates.....i bet sakura will show up with shikamaru to help kakashi, she'll heal im so he wont die (only pass out for a week a or 2) and then her and shika will start to kick some ass XD

kakashi used MS to send the nail somewhere else and that guy that was talking to konan is not the real pein. why would he be gathering his own bodies when he can have a servant do it. thats most likely one of his followers not pein himself.

I think Kakashi is going to die... I think he'll use up all his chakra and succum to the fate he warned sasuke of, way back when during the chunin exams.
I think either in sage mode Naruto will unleash part of the fox and feel the sharingan being used or he will simply feel it. Then he will arrive (or not) and know about what happened, then I can see a few chapters where naruto is out for revenge against Pain and not thinking of what is best for him, Sasuke, and the Leaf village. I think this will lead to Naruto almost being killed for doing somthing stupid, like going to find Nagato or to fight all the Pains by himself.
1. Kakashi is already in fatal condition and the rocks keeping him in stuck are keeping him alive and moving him would be fatal and keeping him their is also fatal. This would explain why he isn't using the head hunter jutsu.

3. the friends of killer bee save Kakashi

I have a feeling that Kakashi is gonna make it. There has always been an undying theme when a character is about to truely kick the bucket in this manga. That theme is flashbacks. As we know, Kakashi's past is probably one of the least known of the series. Yet nothing of his past has even been mentioned in this entire battle, or prior to that. Look back at all of the character deaths. Very prior to the character's death, the manga begins to show scenes of the individual's past. This happens with not only good guy, but bad guys as well. Sandaime Hokage, Asuma Sarutobi, Deidara, Itachi, Jiraya, Orochimaru, Zabuza and Haku, Kimimmaro, the bald monk that was in the organization with Asuma (the one in the filler episodes, with Sora), ect. I think you get my point lol.

Also, using his last MS attack to dismiss a missile that the irritating Chouji couldn't just dodge himself, would be a very lame end to such a popular character. Chouji should of had plenty of chakra left. He only used 2 ninjutsu. Chouji should have been more than capable of avoiding that missile on his own. I mean come on! If you see a missle coming toward you, why (being a ninja) would you just keep running in the same direction, and not even try to roll to the side, jump, or atleast use an Akimichi jutsu to deflect it in some way? I mean, he could have made some remote attempt to defend himself. It just annoys me how useless Chouji can be at times. 2 powerful jounin (Kakashi and Chouza) both dying seconds from one another, just to protect Chouji??.......CHOUJI???????.....sigh.....as you can tell, I am alittle annoyed by this lol.

Well, basically his body stores various projectile weapons. He pretty much is like a machine, with hidden compartments on each part of his body. All of his weapons appear to only be mid to long range. From what we have seen, the only close combat weapon he has, is the obscure tail on his back, that he attempted to impale Kakashi with.

Kishi is on hiatus because practically everything that he was about to write in the next chapters were already under speculation in this forum. There's nothing new that could come out from his imagination.

On a different note, I think Captain Yamato has discovered Danzou's meeting with the Anbu's. There's going to be both an internal (coup d'etat) and external struggle in Konoha.

Um, just an observation: Tsunade has used up much of her stored chakra by healing the casualties. I could see that her boobs are getting smaller. My theory is that her boobs are the receptacles of her enormous chakra. Kishi, don't you think this is a cool theory for you to consider? Nyahahaha...

Not this forum but prolly among the fan community hes noticed, not to mention he needs planning time to think, note that chapters are usually planned out WAY in advance, but theres always moments of writers block, or where he has the begning and end planned, but some of the middle means to get there need to be thought out some more. Guys, vs Pain these people will prove that they are absolutely of NO use.

Why? Because Kakashi said that pain can only do one thing at a time. Every time he either "reflects" or "drags" a character away/towards him, there is a certain amount of time that he isn't able to use any of his powers.

Naruto can use the kage bunshin jutsu and (maybe) his new jutsu on Pain.
One or several bunshins distract Pain, Pain thinks he's dealing the killing blow, The real Naruto appears behind Pain and eventually kills him.

Pain cannot see the difference between clones and the real person. That was proven in the previous chapter. Therefore, Naruto has a HIGH chance of killing Pain.

My prediction for the next chapter will be that Chouji alerts Tsunade, they will have the info and fight Pain. Pain will easily defeat them, but won't kill them. He will be looking for information regarding Naruto, ofcourse.
Naruto will arrive later, at a destroyed town and exhausted friends. He will face Pain, and his emotions will get the better of him. Fuka will tell him to go into sage mode right away, yada yada yada. You get the picture.

TO me its fufilling the theme: the previous generation surpasses the next one, in this case, if they die, as stupid as it is, that means the ones who are alot like them (Choji is like his dad, Shika trying to be kinda like Asuma, Naruto somewhat like Jiraiya, Sakura like Tsunade when she dies..Gai or Lee will probably die...) see? That's what we call a fake spoiler. People who can draw very well look at the current chapter, take a theory of what could happen, and draw it out to make it look true. It's happened before, there's another popular fake one with new Pain Realm bodies; and it came out in the Jiraiya vs. Pain arc.

ive been reading a lot of people's post on here, and i see a lot of you think that one of tsunade's slugs (katsuya) will heal him.. well i really hope thats true and does happen but, when your healed i dont think that restores your chakra...... and thats whats causing kakashi to die right now. :( he used his mangekyou sharingan 2 to warp both nail and missle and before he used it he only had about 1/2 his chakra left he said (lightning blade and lightning clone). Then he used the sharingan 2 like i said and that uses A LOT of chakra and stress on the body, so by the 1st use he was probably almost out of chakra. He said before he used it that if he used the sharingan again it would drain his chakra below 0 or something and he would die but he did it anyway..... so now idk whats gonna happen. :cry:

im hopeing choza somehow transferrs his chakra and spirit or something to kakashi to prevent his chakra reaching absolute zero. Poor naruto.... i just wish he'd get his booty back there and help.. but STUPID danzo and his whole plan to get rid of tsunade to become hokage pissed me off cuz now that, that frog that was suppost to go get naruto is dead, naruto has no clue. I don't think Kakashi means he's gonna die from overuse of chakra. I think he means that since he has no more chakra, that Pein will use a jutsu to kill him off, I mean come on chakra is just stamina essentially and I don't THINK anyone can die from using up too much stamina. Pass out possibly, but not die. But nonetheless he did do pretty good against Pein, I mean Jiraya had to go to sage mode in order to kill 3 Pein's, so no one can really say Kakashi did worse than Jiraiya in that sense. he could have killed one Asura Pein if Chouji and his dad didn't come, I mean he did have that jutsu that he was never able to use, and although i might be wrong, he did Kill off God Realm.

That's what we call a fake spoiler. People who can draw very well look at the current chapter, take a theory of what could happen, and draw it out to make it look true. It's happened before, there's another popular fake one with new Pain Realm bodies; and it came out in the Jiraiya vs. Pain arc.

This is a little theory I've got for the events coming up...It hasn't got any specifics on who lived or died during the attack on Konoha, it's just a basic outline of what I think might happen..

As the attack on Konoha comes to an end, and things are settling down, the injured being taken care of, Danzou proceeds with his Coup d'etat to take over the village. He succeeds and all the shinobi and villagers loyal to the fith hokage flee from the village to take refuge somewhere else (maybe the sand or cloud village)...

Naruto finishes his training and returns to Konoha to find out the whole place is turned upside down, the ruined buildings and dark atmosphere, and the fact Danzou is in charge, next proceeds Naruto fighting his way through the ANBU root members as he gets angrier and angrier until he finally reaches the hokage building where he faces Danzou..Naruto and Danzou start to fight but Danzou is clearly stronger, so Naruto goes into Sage mode but he still can't keep up, with his frustration he starts to leak the 9 tails chakra and becomes a mix of kyuubi sage Naruto and the fight reaches epic proportions, but Naruto still can't win...then arrives Sasuke on his mission to kill the elders (including Danzou)....dun dun duuuuuun....i wonder what would happen next XD

2 - other...put all people in a safe place....

Its already been said but I'll say it to not only clarify for you, but hopefully any others who may ask again...a hiatus is basically when the show or comic or event stops for a while and does nothing so that the creator can either
1. take a vacation...somtimes creators just need one
2. givin time to think about what to do next during a plot point in his work
3. any other reason not listed in 1 or 2 that might come up.

3 I liked Gaara's arc, tho the anime version was dragged out too long, and I kinda skimmed thru the manga version at parts

There's no way they're gonna kill Kakashi. He's too important to die for a character as lame and pointless as Chouji (sp?) Seriously, of all characters... Chouji! Can i just ask one thing? Its already been said but I'll say it to not only clarify for you, but hopefully any others who may ask again...a hiatus is basically when the show or comic or event stops for a while and does nothing so that the creator can either
1. take a vacation...somtimes creators just need one
2. givin time to think about what to do next during a plot point in his work
3. any other reason not listed in 1 or 2 that might come up.

Sasuke killing oro and then forming Team Snake to kill Itachi arc was cool, altho some parts dissapointed me (for example the fight itself wasnt that cool and the appearance of Team 8 wasn't handled as well as the others) This is where the series started to go a lil downhill in some areas, but the arc was still passable and had some cool moments.

Overall a 7/10

the current arc (after Itachi died til now, formation of Team Hawk, Pain attacks Konoha, etc.) has been full of things that dissapointed me in many different ways..but I still liked it..then again Pain in general had dissapointed me for awhile, tho now hes starting to become cooler again in this vs Kakashi fight but still..most chapters recently haven't been that good..more suspenceful trailers until the fights happen...seriously..every chapter a trailer for the next one until a fight happens...and on rare occasions a little bit of actual plot..thats what its been. Some good examples is how we've not seen that much of Kakashi's fight..it didnt even show how Choji's dad died! And it skipped many parts of the 8-tails fight and didnt show it! Seriously...theres some wtf moments in there...and like...how many times has it given more questions than answers? and yet on occasion it'll cram a ton of plot in a single chapter..only to go back to the format it usually does (like several chapters are trailers for the next one until a fight happens, then rense and repeat)

no he said he only sealed his ying chakra and not his yang. the essence of the kyuubi is still in naruto. some of the yang chakra was sealed in sora and the rest prolly dissapated like chakra outside of a vessel does.

Not really Sora was filled with some of the kyuubi's overflow of chakra, not the yang. Also I don't think chakra would just dissipitate, I mean that would be a total waste of chakra, it was also proven in the Sora arc that chakra is too heavy to dissipitate because they had too get the overflow from the kyuubi to put some of the chakra into Sora.

Chouji's dad never died from protecting Kakashi, he died from protecting chouji from another Shinra Tensei. He used his first Kamui on the nail and that is why he was still alive and had such a low chakra level, although you already said this.

Dude, you're kind of wrong in what you said, because the book that Jiraiya gave Pa Toad to give to Naruto to read already explained who his father and mother is...I mean everyone loves Kakashi, who wouldn't? But we have to accept the possibility of him dying. And Kakashi doesn't know which Pein is the real one. No body knows that, I have a feeling that Madara knows, but I could be wrong. Kakashi used up the last of his chakra but he may not die. Because remember when Neji fought that spider guy with the cursed seal from the first Season of Naruto? He collapsed and was out of chakra but didn't die. Another example is when Chouji fought that Fat cursed Seal dude and he turned into that butterfly Chouji, he didn't die and he was out of Chakra too. I suppose it's not meant to be the same with Kakashi, since the Kamui (God's Majesty) is way more to handle and a way more powerful technique. But we may be in for a surprise, because for Kishi to be taking a break to think about how he's going to fix the next turn of events, he may not let Kakashi die because he's too much of a fan favorite. Dude, get one thing straight, Jiraiya could've beaten Pein and Pein himself said this. Jiraiya was trying to gain information, not fight Pein although he knew confrontation was iminent. But when Jiraiya died Pein said, "If that man knew my identity I would've lost." And Jiraiya did find out his identity at the last minute...Did you realize Jiraiya could've gotten away? He didn't though, he stayed back to find out who Pein is and that's why he died a Hero's death. You can't really say that about Orochimaru because he had someone to fight at the time which is the 3rd Hokage. If the 3rd Hokage didn't fend him off he would've done a lot more damage to Konoha. All he had to do was summon Manda (his giant summoned Snake) and start destroying the place....So without the 3rd Hokage's intervention, Orochimaru would've succeeded in a way....

Dude, you're kind of wrong in what you said, because the book that Jiraiya gave Pa Toad to give to Naruto to read already explained who his father and mother is...I mean everyone loves Kakashi, who wouldn't? But we have to accept the possibility of him dying. And Kakashi doesn't know which Pein is the real one. No body knows that, I have a feeling that Madara knows, but I could be wrong. Kakashi used up the last of his chakra but he may not die. Because remember when Neji fought that spider guy with the cursed seal from the first Season of Naruto? He collapsed and was out of chakra but didn't die. Another example is when Chouji fought that Fat cursed Seal dude and he turned into that butterfly Chouji, he didn't die and he was out of Chakra too. I suppose it's not meant to be the same with Kakashi, since the Kamui (God's Majesty) is way more to handle and a way more powerful technique. But we may be in for a surprise, because for Kishi to be taking a break to think about how he's going to fix the next turn of events, he may not let Kakashi die because he's too much of a fan favorite. Which is why I believe he killed off Jiraiya so quickly so he won't become as much of a fav character as Kakashi and wouldn't be too difficult to kill off and wouldn't be missed as much...But I became too much of a fan of Jiraiya and was sort of angry when he died but O well, all things are not meant to last.I dont think the book told him that, because dont you think he'd mention it I mean it's pretty big for him to know that...

Lolz I really don't know bro, it could be, because I mean, back then I didn't know anyone who liked Chouji, but I guess because a lot of us were young back then when we saw that episode, to kishis, it would've probably been kind of weird to see a young kid die that's our age or younger, you know what I mean? But when Jiraiya died Pein said, "If that man knew my identity I would've lost." And Jiraiya did find out his identity at the last minute...Did you realize Jiraiya could've gotten away? He didn't though, he stayed back to find out who Pein is and that's why he died a Hero's death. You can't really say that about Orochimaru because he had someone to fight at the time which is the 3rd Hokage. If the 3rd Hokage didn't fend him off he would've done a lot more damage to Konoha. All he had to do was summon Manda (his giant summoned Snake) and start destroying the place....So without the 3rd Hokage's intervention, Orochimaru would've succeeded in a way....Jiraiya was there so he probably could of faced Orochimaru. But anyway's even still Pain is still doing more damage after only having 6 bodies and Konan. Also yes Jiraiya killed three bodies and he could of escaped but even still he lost by the sixth paths of Pain that's still means Pain won.

So he def read it, but honestly, it's really not the right time to talk about that, it might change the mood of the story, right now, it's about fighting to save Konoha, think about, then all of a the mood turns to a happy mood or a sad one, while Naruto is talking about his father. You know? I don't think it's the right moment to talk about that...Or maybe Naruto doesn't know how to speak about them since he grew up without both parents. Or the time he does talk about them might be a time where we witness his Maturity.
