SI Gallery 2.0 (outdated)

I've recently installed a brand spanking new image gallery on Saiyan Island @ http://images.saiyanisland.com

Unlike the last gallery, this one is fully integrated with the forums. In fact, the new image gallery, known as PhotoPlog, is part of the forums and is made especially to be used with vBulletin.

What does that mean for you? Well, hopefully it's a little more intuitive in that you can upload images easily to Saiyan Island, the look/feel is the same as the forums, and that the login navigation bar (that bar thing that also tells you how many PMs you have) appears on all pages throughout the gallery.

How do I upload images to the gallery?
Go to http://images.saiyanisland.com and click on the picture that looks like this:

Do we each have a unique gallery url?
Yes, your url would be http://images.saiyanisland.com/?u=YOURID. The place where it says YOURID is your forum ID number. So for me, my gallery ID is http://images.saiyanisland.com/?u=1. This link can also be found on images that you uploadThere are 5 upload boxes, but only one place to enter a title and description. How can I enter a title and description one at a time?
You can either
A) Upload one image at a time or
B) Leave the title and descriptions fields BLANK, and the image gallery will inherit your images file name. So, if your images file name is Naruto Uzumaki.jpg than the title in the Image Gallery of it will be Naruto Uzumaki.jpg.
C) You can upload up to five images at once and go back and edit the image's description and title. You can leave the file name/description blank if you want to.How do I edit images I upload?
Step 1: Find the link that says TOOLKIT. It's right above the image you uploaded. Than click EDIT, as indicated by the red arrow in the image below.

Step 2: This page brings you to the category your image is in. If you uploaded it to the wrong category, you can use the drop down to edit it now. Otherwise, you can just press CONTINUE.

Step 3: Edit the title or description and than press the SAVE button.

Yes you can. Go to the image TOOLKIT which is found on any image you upload and there is an option to delete. In the following screenshot, it is below the red arrow.

Your image has to be approved first and this usually takes no more than a day (sometimes images are approved immediately). Your image will be rejected if it's dimensions are too small, or if it contains inappropriate content. Are the images on the front page of saiyanisland.com from the Image Gallery?
Yes they are! The 7 latest images submitted and approved on the site will find there way onto the main page of the site!

i think it looks really cool but ye saiyan, my notifications thing has turned to three now. (all three of them r unread profile visitors messages and i've checked all them, but it won't go away)

I'm "Viewing Who's Online" but my Action and everyone else's action is "Viewing Photoplog: Images" o.o; I even took an image, and look at the bottom, the link there o.o;;;;

Just made an update to the gallery.

Aha! I have found ways to upload images to the image gallery via PSP... but it takes time... I will explain for those member's who hav PSPs.. even you can upload images... :D



Everytime you try upload an image from your psp, it will be denied. However, you can still post the link you got the image from. What I do is I go on he PSP's internet, find images I would like to share from certain websites, go to the PSP website history at the bottom of the screen push triangle, go to "information", then I write the adress link down on a piece of paper. Now that the link is written down on paper, you go to the upload image thing in the image gallery, click "Upload File From URL Link", type in the link that you wrote down, and there you go. You uploaded an to the image gallery from your PSP. :D
I did it quiet a few times, try it out. :)

It isnt that hard... it's alot to explain tho... but it's alot easier than it seems...
It takes alittle time considering you hav to write stuff down... but other than that... it's easy...

At this time most members can only submit to fan works and cosplay galleries. Hopefully in the future you will be able to submit those One Piece images to the gallery.

That would be cool, but sadly there is no option in Photoplog (the image gallery system we use) for that.

You can, however, see which images do get approved. You can view approved images in your personal gallery. Go to http://images.saiyanisland.com/?u=X where X is your userid. So for you, Near, it would be http://images.saiyanisland.com/?u=1206

To download pictures to your hard drive, just RIGHT CLICK on the image you are interested in and press SAVE.

WHY is this happpening to me every time i want to upload it signs me out

idk, but i think that u need a cerain amout of posts before u can upload:nod:
an somtimes the images take a day or to for it to show up :laugh:...but i dont mind, once they show up and they count:D

i keep uploading images and they might show up in a day or so, but then the next day they have gone again. And I uploaded an image and my number of images increased but the image never showed up. But now the number has decreased again. The first couple of images I uploaded were fine but now it's not really working.
