wat you guys was the best? DragonBall, DragonBall Z or DragonBall GT?

i have to say dbz, db had me going i actually liked it....then dbz came out and i loved it then gt came out and it got ruined :rolleyes:.....i was nv a huge fan of any of em though :p

well, i really liked the db, at db u could clearly see the goku's story and how he has advanced from little boy to the world best martial arts fighter, and how he found the most friends in it, db was really cool, especialy the martial arts tournaments used to rock, everything was based on simple fights mostly hand to hand, and just very few beams, kamehame wave and dondon wave,it was funny as hell, i gotta say i loved it.

as about dbz i liked frieza and cell sagas the most, it was really amazing and i if u have noticed yet whyle goku saved vegeta at very first saiyans battle on earth, he actualy saved his own ass too, and then future trunks brought some medicine from future( if goku killed the vegeta he didn't get the medicine :>) also i really loved the "great saiyamens saga it was hilarious, and how gohan looked at school ( tried to hide his powers but actualy it didnt work :D) and how he met videl, i really liked all those episodes ulti majin buu appeared. i wish there was edited dbz version where could be more episodes about little goten,trunks and gohans life :>.about buu sa i found way too boring...and to the fact buu saga was buged, come on do u remember then vegeta suicided on earth and the buu restored himself from dust??? come on same thing should have happened at kais planet when goku used the spirit bomb, it couldn't kill buu, that was just lame ending.....

as for db gt that was all shit, nothing was done right at all, and what's up with powers gap??? it was really lame gohan in mystic form was even stronger than goku as super saiyan 3 and at db gt gohan was nothing just a feeder, not to talk about trunks and goten they didn't get stronger at all, and vegeta what case he was, db gt made vegeta look total moron, who didn't reach any new super saiyan lvl by himself....i gotta say there should't be gt season at all. and goku bringing back to a little boy was another bad idea, goku was a little boy at db it was for long enough, it just make db gt look even more shit...

I liked DBZ the best especially in the original Japan language with english subs. xD
I liked DB alot to and what got me hooked on it to start with, even though alot of it was cut out in english version. :(

Dragon Ball was a fun action comedy that didn't take itself seriously and had a world populated by a colorful cast of characters you could grow attached to and legitimately care for when the serious moments came.

Dragon Ball Z took everything charming about the previous stories, threw them out the window, and focused on constipated body builders fighting in outer space and expanding an already flimsy mythology into a hole ridden, inconsistent mess of a universe that ultimately became hilarious, Japanese produced Aryan propaganda due to the fact that only the blond haired, blue (well, okay, green) eyed Super Saiyans could do anything. With the Dragon Balls being the end all plot device for character revival, there were no repercussions to even mass genocides. Everything meanders about for five lengthy story arcs with no real goal in mind and nothing ever lasts as we watch every character either delve into greater power or go into the background never to be important again with no in between.

Dragon Ball GT, for all of its faults (and there were many), managed to try and bring the original Dragon Ball formula back and return the series to the fun it used to have. When this failed, it simply fell back to repeat all of Z's problems. The only stark difference is that each of their major storylines seemed to make a point of connecting to past mythology, if only to make a somewhat more cohesive whole. While the end product certainly isn't there, the effort really shines and almost makes it worth watching. Almost.

So, I'd rank it as such: Dragon Ball> Dragon Ball GT> Dragon Ball Z.

I like "Dragon Ball" and "Dragon Ball Z" equally because there both are based on the same manga series. As for "Dragon Ball GT" well it has it's moments, but it's nowhere near as good as first two series.
