because it attaches itself to Quicktime which won't recognize the codecs I have.

I can view the videos just fine in Winamp or Windows media player. But I can't put any of them in my iPod if it can't get into iTunes, and I'd really like to be able to get that to work.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Uhhh, maybe DivX would work? Not sure if it does anything for QuickTime, but all QT videos I've ever had have worked, and I have DivX. Just go to DivX.com and get the free codec and converter (but only those if/when you install it) for free. If that doesn't work, just Google something like "Free QuickTime codec/converter." Hope this helps!

The only videos that the Ipod takes are mp4, which windows mdeia player won't play, which means you dont have the proper video format. Look for a converter online to convert whatever video type they are into mp4.

I see, my videos were avi's. I just converted them to mp4 and now they work! Thank you! ^_^
