Anyways, the point of this forum is that there are talks of sequels to the first movie even though it's not out yet. i belive i heard the Dragon Ball Movie series is going to be a trilogy so two more movies after t his one.

A sequel will come if the movie does well, you can always trust that.

Saw = Did good, came out with THREE more.

Spiderman = Did good, came out with TWO more.

There's a lot of other series of many movies that have done that. Saiyan already explained it may be a trilogy I think, and why come up with those 2 horrible group of movies..

Second movie: Dragonball Z (Mainly focusing on the Saiyans)
Third movie: Dragonball Z (Mainly focusing on Namek and Freeza)

Fun fact: James Marsters is signed to 3 movies, as are most the cast. It is not known if James Wong is signed to 3, but if this movie is successful it is likely to assume that, just like in x-men's case, James Wong will be brought back.

True, but I believe it might just cover the different saga's in the actual Dragonball anime. There wasn't a Dragonball Z in Japan, It was titled Dragonball. Dragonball is 42 volumes. The American Dragonball Z takes place through chapter 17-42. I believe this is how the first movie will end up.
1)They'll do the intro to dragonball, and work it up to the commander red saga.
2)The Baba saga for the second movie.
3)The beginning of the saiyan saga, possibly?

I'm not to sure, though. My Dragonball knowledge is a little rusty.

Dragonball has been announced as a planned trilogy with Marsters already signed up for two sequels. Plans for filming the sequel is set for 2009 with a possible 2011 release.

If the first movie sucked then they whould probably don't make sequels since the first one costed 100 million dollars+.

the second movie should be about at least 2 sagas like (frieza and cell) so the movie can be intense and they should make gt the real live movie cause that would be cool if they did

The ending of the first movie made it seem that they may continue the story from the dragonball series...

I think the next movie will probably be a Dragonball 2 type thing, instead of a Dragonball Z type thing...

Unless they make a sequel that says "blank years later", then it would probably be a DBZ movie...

Why? You're acting like they never used guns in the anime/manga. They were used all the time in Dragonball.
