This thread is for all Shaman King fans.

Mine is... Rio! Maaan, just love this guy. This was so funny when he was with his gang, so much good humor. He is so funny guy. His hair-style, when he rides a bike, the way he thinks. Man he got me to laugh to death.

Well, I could do it, but the problem can appear that I wathced Shaman King in a complete russian translation, and some of character's names seems to differ completely in english and in russian (for example Manta in russian version is Morti:D). And I am in a real lack of time now, I am leaving away from home and don't have such regular access to the internet. I'll have time... on saturday, so let's put it on hold till this saturday, than cooperate and make an rp thread, Ok?

Ok, dudes. Time to think about RP. As I have heard, Takei is now drawing manga for the 2nd season of Shaman King, it's going to be a continue of a story, 32 additional series, Shaman King tournament resumes. But I guess it's still 1 year to come before the new episodes begins to release, that's why we can make a RP with the main idea "Shaman tournament resumes". This RP will feature events which takes place after 64 main series, Yoh defeated Zeke, tournament was put on hold, everybody resumes their daily life, but suddenly the star of fortune falls again and the oracle starts ringing, shaman tournament resumes! And we are going to be the main chaacters in it.
Let's say that the judjes decided to give chance to new shamans (us), who didn't participate in the first tounament, so they'll have to go all the stages from the very begining:
1) 1st stage, fighting each other to get sufficiant number of points to proceed to the next round
2) 2nd stage, searching for the Dobi village. The ones who got through the first stage will be asked some intelectual questions (I'll think of them), (to make things interesting), when they answer they get promotion to the third stage.
3) 3rd stage the fighting at dobi village for the title of one and only Shaman King, so as you see, members will fall out during RP until only one is remaining, he'll be the King.

That is still to early to talk about 2nd and 3rd stages, We begin with the 1st stage it'll take a long long time, we will be just fighting each other and getting points, this'll be fun.

To register for the RP each member must enter stats in this thread, we'll start a real RP, only after all discusions are made and initial number of members are collected. The stats are following:

-Shaman: (name, surname)
-Spirit: (name)
-Shaman backround: (brief story about shaman, his clan, ambitions for entering tournement, visual appearance, etc.)
-Spirit's past: (brief story about the spirit)
-Techniques: 5 techniques (3 attacking, 1-to avoid damage, 1-defencive)
-Hit points: 20(initial hp, increase after achieving next level)
-Furioku: energy 150(initial furioku points, increase after ach. next level)
-Score: (score you gain from battles)

a). On the first round we'll just be fighting each other to get score to increase our level and promote to the next stage. Everybody starts with level1 (hp-20, furioku-1500, 5 techniques, not allowed giant spirits)

20 score points - level 2 - 30hp,2500furioku,7techniques,not allowed giant spirits

50 score points - level 3 - 50hp, 10000furioku, 8techniques, allow giant spirits

after that, each add. score point gives you 1 hp and 50 furioku.

b). Fights. Once you began fighting with one person, you must fight him to the end, till one of you dies (loses all hit points) When you die, or win the opponent your hp and furioku will be repelnished, the difference is only in the score points you earned. You may have not more then 3 fights per week, you can make all 3 fights in one day if you want to.

c). The score is updated every week. You can update it yourself when entering a fight, but it'll be checked, so everything must be honest.

d) Fghting, when fighting someone you must attack him with your techniques, at the beginig you have 3 attacking techniques you must invent yourself, these techniques must be different level:
1 - deals 10 damage (takes 1000 furioku)
2 - deals 6 damage (takes 500 furioku)
3 - deals 3 damage (takes 250 furioku)
You can use a defencive technique that blocks 4 damge (takes 750 furioku), and avoiding technique that avoids 6 damage (takes 900 furioku).
The furioku isn't enough to use all the techniques, so you determine whitch techniques in whitch order to use, this is where the tactics lies.
An ordinary kick deals 2 damage (takes 150 furioku), when one's furioku finishes an ordinary kick does 1 damage.
At the level 3 you can make a giant spirit, it does 21 damage and takes 9000 furioku.
You can make up to 3 additional techniques (when you gain levels) You decide what are this techniques (attacking, defencive, avoiding) you can make one powerfull technique instead of 3 different, 1-hp(att) of your new technique takes 100 furioku. For example you can make a new att. technique with 10 damage which takes 1000 furioku. 1-hp(def) takes 75 furioku. The overall furioku points to make new technique - is 2000 for level 2, and 3000 for level 3.
You must describe your techniques visualy.

e) Score points.
win with advantage of 6 hp or more - 8 score points
win with advantage 3-6 hp - 5 score points
win with advantage 1-3 hp - 3 score points
draw - 1 crore point
loss - 0

f) new members. If new members want to join rp, after the old members have acieved level 3 or higher. We'll see what to do and respond in a most correct manner, probably we'll make teams and alliances at this point to make different forces more or less equal. g) characters. ONLY NEW characters are accepted, Yoh, Zeke and other real characters are not allowd, we have to make our imagination work and create NEW ones.

... fighting... result Rio wins with +7 hp, Rio's core points increses by 8.

i) This is just a general idea, I'll think of more precise numbers later, to make the tacics more complicated.

j) Now let's discuss it, may be you have other ideas, then we can start with posting our stats. This game can apear to be very interesting, and even people who aren't familiar with Shaman King can play it, coz no real characters are engaged.

Yeah, and I also read Hiroyuki Takei's interview, he told that he is already drawing the manga for the 2nd season. There will be 32 episodes more. :)But I think it will take few years before we see them.:(

About the RP, my suggestion is to discuss different stuff about Shaman King on this thread, so we could get more people involved. We can discuss stuff like
-most beautifull girl
-favourite giant spirit
-best fight
-theories about the next season

and many other stuff. This would be great!

Yes, Yoh Asakura is great!:D Very relaxed, stays calm all the time, likes to sleep and eat cheeseburgers, super-friendly and easy-going. And kicks bad asses. btw, his spirit's name is Amidamaru.:rolleyes:
I likes the moment when the viking team attacked him with the ice storm, but Yoh just stayed calm, ignored the attack and this storm like went through him like through an empty space. This was awesome.
