I watched the anime a loong time ago... it was classic... Im not really a fan of the new series on nicktoons network.. and I didnt see the movie...

My dad said he used to watch it when he was a lil younger then me and my mom too they said it was good but I only saw the one with snakeoil racer so I wouldnt know much about it.
