I just found this out but the production cost of one episode of One Piece is ¥10,000,000,(about 92,704 USD).

I was watching One Piece up until Cartoon Network discontinued it while Luffy and crew were in Skypia and I have to say it's a good series. It deserves special treatment, but over $90,000 USD to produce one episode? That's unbelievable!

That means they've spent well over $33 million USD on One Piece since there are 365-366 episodes out right now, with more on the way in Japan. If that's true, all I can say is wow!

the only reason it cost soo much to put it on cartoon network was because they had to edit it almost completely. they basicly redrew most of the anime. that is why it cost so much.
They butchered one piece so much in the English version It sickens me. So I prefer the Japanese version. it is soo much better and funnier

I got to around the alabasta arc then got bored then watched the anime to the enel arc then got bored again and decided to read the manga. The manga has got really good at the moment.

I didnt know cn discontinued one piece I thought they were just taking break for a while instead they show crap like bakugan or ben 10 or samurai jack(that show is kinda good)
