The :D Smiley Glitchy!

Hey everyone, just wanted to Inform you that the ":D" Smiley messes up and does ":d" instead when you click on the ":D" Smiley.

It never did work for me when I wrote it's little code in. I thought it was just me but now that you point it out I guess everyone has that problem.

No, on the right where the smilies r, when you "click" on it it becomes ":d" sometimes. But, when you type it in it works perfectly!~:)

The only time it ever come sou tlike :d is if I hav everything in caps... that's it... other then that... it always looks like :D

Hey everyone, just wanted to Inform you that the ":D" Smiley messes up and does ":d" instead when you click on the ":D" Smiley.

That isn't a glitch. The :d is the code for the smiley that the forum recognizes. When you click "submit reply" it generally parses and shows the smiley.

Also, the d is an uppercase D. If you manually typed : and then D right after it, the smiley would have shown up in your forum post.

its probably because you did something like this:
BLAH BLAH INSERT YOUR POST HERE :D
since SI has an automatic system that prevents all caps typing, it turned that into this:
Blah Blah Insert Your Post Here :d
the D was capital but turned lowercase due to your post. its happened to me plenty of times b4 its not a glitch
