Great find! :) I'm pretty sure that if they make this for the PSP, they'll also make it for the PS2, or, they'll have it available for download on the Playstation Store later on.

When games that should come out on the PS2 end up coming out on the PSP, they re-release the game so that it's available for either the PS2, or the PS3. They did it for Tekken Dark Resurrection, they did it for Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, and I bet that they'll do it for this.

Or perhaps the game will be released on all of the current playstation consoles? And then each version has something special? Kind of like what they did with Soul Calibur 4.

Anyway, it'll be cool to play with Team Hawk! :D I can't wait to see Karin's moveset. The game looks nice. I hope they expand on the story, and make the single player mode fun.

It is annoying. My PSP analog stick is messed up, and it moves on its own. :( But the Ultimate Ninja games don't really use the analog stick, so it's all good. :D

The PSP is capable of doing this just fine though. My only concern is if they'll keep the part one Naruto characters or not.

Also, since the PSP is region free, people here in the US can import the game, and play it without having to modify the system! That's awesome for those who don't want to mod their PS2, or for those who do not own Action Replay.

I think that's one of the reasons why Accel was made on the PSP, besides the fact that the PS2 is getting old.

American Naruto fans can buy this game online, and play it!

If anyone provides any more info to make sure that this game is in fact Accel 3, I'll sticky this thread ASAP.

1.) Will this game also have the part one characters? It should obviously, but even I, an avid PSP fan and suppoter, thinks that it may not happen. I hope it does though... :D

2.) Will the characters have only one special, or more?

This is alot to put on the PSPs shoulder, so that's why ask if this will also be released for the PS2 later on... It may even be available on the PS3's store one day? You never know...

Anyway, since this is going to fall under the "Tenth Anniversary" category, do you guys think that they'll throw in characters from the movies and possibly the fillers too? They had a movie character in Ultimate Ninja 2, so it could happen...

I predict that Obito and Rin will be playable characters also... Same goes for young Kakashi..

Instead of the Storm and Ultimate Ninja series ending up on the same console, they decided to move the Ultimate Ninja series to the console that was closet to the PS2 in relationship.

Not everyone has a PS3, and not everyone has a psp. At least with this, costumers don't get left out.

They could if they would consider usin more memory, cause it aint impossible.
I think they just limited themselves to max 2gb cause most people had PSP's with little memory, but with tha re-launch of tha PSP as tha PSP Go, i think they wouldnt mind usin much more memory in a game, as before, since tha PSP Go will have a 16 gb internal memory =D.

Accel 2 has bout 4 gigs i think and i belive 59 or 60 characters. =D

very destructive also looks like they have some storm graphics thrown into the mix.

There will be NO more Ultimate ninja games for PS2. CC2 has already stated that years ago. The last UN game is Ultimate Ninja 5. PSP is a smart step, region free. Meaning more sales for the game. People won't have to get swap magic or modding tools anymore just to play it.

Whoa! the screenshots looks awesome!. Also..Sasuke is doing Chidori Nagashi on the ground against Suigetsu (Sasuke only did that against Itachi). Nice Find. From the looks of the article it seems the site went close and personal with NA3 to find out more about the game. Hopefully someone will translate the article soon. The more updates and screenshots we get, the more closer we are to getting a trailer.:)

Well the lastest Naruto Shippuden covered another 2 chapters. The next episode is when Naruto meets Itachi and Jiraiya departs to go to Pain's Hideout. So yea I think this game will go to the Sasuke vs. Itachi Fight. The anime is moving at a very fast pace.
CC2 is probably only showing the pics of Sasuke and Rasenshuriken to lure away fans from finding out too much, then surprise them with the Sasuke vs. Itachi Fight.

[/Personally, i think naruto on the psp is much better than PS2 or PS3. One because it makes for easy fun on the go. Two because if it were on the ps2, who would play it??? The ps2's are decaing slowly, very slowly, and the ps3 nowadays dont have backward capability. So its better on a system that has no need for backward capabilities and is region free with out needs of mods

There seems to be just a single Ougi for each character (though new/improved ones for old characters). Two Jutsus for characters but you have to select one for the fight (like NUNS). Load times seem to be faster than PS2.

MS Sasuke isn't in the game since Accel 3 won't go over the entire arc.
Sage Jiraiya and Konan and Pain will be confirmed once the anime has finished their fight.

That's an interesting question. The with Pain fight is over in the manga, but it's not over in the anime. The videogame character roster allows follows the anime timeline.

The anime did show Pain's true appearance, so it's safe to assume that he and Konan will be playable characters... If not, they'll at least have a cameo in the game, I'm sure...

I think it'll be the exact same game. :D They began promoting the Japanese version the same way. They have only recently revealed some of the characters like Pain (http://i33.tinypic.com/t7ibk2.jpg) to be in the game in Japan. I think the US promotion will follow a similar suit - start with a few notable characters and then build on that excitement.

Plus the US is caught up with Japan in terms of episodes. There isn't any reason to not release the same game.
