I decided to make this thread to show all you Naruto fans out there how powerful Team 7/Kakashi would be if they all came back together again (I mean the ORIGINAL Team 7, not including Sai and Yamato). So, feel free to comment on the chart I made below, and if you have anything to add, do so!

As you can see, all of them have killed at least 1 Akatsuki member, have power equal to Sannin, and have at least 1 original, self-taught Jutsu! Just think: if those 4 came together again, they would be the ultimate Akatsuki annihilation team!

Only to avenge his teacher. Otherwise Shikamaru is hopelessly lazy and propbally won't want to get involved with akatsuki again. So Shikamaru would be a bad choice on the team that may get them all killed. And who says that Sasuke wants to come back and be on the team? He might just want to kill them instead.

He wouldn't be a hero. Itachi had a mission to kill the Uchiha's and that is following the Leaf. Honestly there is no reason to let him back in. He is trying to destroy the leaf. He made the plan because they made Itachi kill his whole family. Done and done. He hates the leaf.

You're kidding, right? Where did you read that Sasuke hates Konoha? All the time he's been acting favorable for the village. Itachi and Orochimaru posed great threats for the village, both of whom he got rid of. And the whole Akatsuki thing is a farce, too. He's after the elders, no one else.
And do you honestly believe Naruto wouldn't let his best friend return home? He even promised.

More of half spoken, than half thought out.
First of all, everyone believes Sasuke killed Orochimaru and since Itachi isn't alive anymore, there's no way to prove otherwise. And even if he didn't kill him, the least Sasuke did was to defeat him. That counts as something, too.
And granted, killing your higher-ups and demanding to be accepted back afterwards is a bit insolent. But if you think of how Danzou is a thorn in Tsunade's side, I don't think it would bother her to have him gone.
Seriously, if you take a look at Konoha's leadership, it becomes clear that the Hokage isn't the head of the village anymore. Truth is that the village leader's powers are divided between the Hokage, the Elders, and the leader of the Root division of ANBU.
And now tell me, what do you think causes greater problems? To have only the Hokage have the authority of deciding over the village's fate or to have another two instances who can easily overrule you? Especially if they oppose your ideals and beliefs.
With the stunt Danzou pulled with Sai and Sasuke's assassination it is further warranted, that he is trying a coup d'état himself. He gave Sound information about all ANBU members, which are under the Hokage's control. He may have even allied with Orochimaru temporarily to take over the village. That is what Tsunade currently believes. And me, too.
The elders may not seem to be blamed for this, but if you consider it was them who insisted on a member of Root to join Team 7, it appears to be suspicious, right? Especially since they have access to information, too.
You can't deny that Tsunade and the elders often get into a fight. That is only a subtle sign that the elders may be tempted to side with Danzou, since they also base their decisions on logic, rather than emotions and wouldn't hesitate to eliminate any threat to the village. This could mean killing Sasuke as well as Naruto.
They have annihilated the only clan with a potential ability on a successful coup in the past, I don't think they would have any scruple to 'appoint' a new Hokage if Tsunade started acting against their wills.
If I was in her position I would consider it a favor if they we're killed. I would cover the whole assassination up, just like they did with the Uchiha massacre. This is a ninja world, after all. Things like these happen.
In conclusion, we don't know if Sasuke will really kill the higher-ups, but one thing is for sure: the Hokage needs new advisers. Seriously.

I do agree with u there. The village won't let Sasuke back in that easily. He's a rogue ninja for goodness sakes.They'll treat him as Kakashi treated Itachi when he came back in the village looking for naruto. People would attack Sasuke on the spot if he came back so suddenly.

susamajji, that was genius. it all makes perfect sense. if sasuke is less of a retard than i think he is, than he will only aim for the leaders. when he kills them, his clan will be avenged. Tsunade will be happy and she will be the only one in control. however i think sasuke will die in the big battle with pein and madara. the leaders r old and can be dealt with. if sasuke lives then the ending will be to perfect and dreamlike.

LOL you know what ending would be even worse?
Naruto saving the village from Akatsuki by executing his completed rasengan technique, though sacrificing his life in the process, because the jutsu would be so devastating. Then, at the funeral, Sasuke and Sakura would step up and suggest that Naruto's face should be added to the Hokage monument as the Sixth Hokage. Tsunade and all of the village acknowledging Naruto and his sacrifice would agree and so Naruto would become Hokage with Konohamaru as the Seventh carrying on his will.
This ending would suck.
