Because theres nothing better then religion saying "Thou shall not murder" then doing a 180 and using violence and death to solve all problems.

Yes. :P

But for those of you who seriously don't get it: In Medieval times, and up to the early 20th century, left handed people were considered to be infected by a demon. In fact, the word Sinister comes from Sinistra which is latin for left. And my grandmother was beaten in school for being left-handed by Catholic nuns as a girl.

These days we know that left handedness is a perfectly normal mutation present in a fairly large percentage of the population.

Homosexuality is similarly a perfectly normal mutation present in a very likely even larger percentage of the population.

I saw a stupid joke about that like on American Dad and a few other vidoes, but I never thought kids actually got beaten for being left handed. Can't say I am suprised to much though, being different was always an excuse for people to beat the crap out of another or get others to beat up someone yet making them think they were doing it for a good cause.

Nobody's perfect. Personally, I don't really believe that being left handed is the work of the devil...
