I don't want to read the unnecessary, while amusing, bickering in this thread. A theme is a theme. Get with it. If you can't make a good sig because of a theme and blame it so, then really, you are a pathetic GFXer. Some themes you might be able to work with, some you won't but if you try you might learn something new, and even possibly make an incredible piece of art.

i have to say i like this theme, after those two weeks of hellish themes. no offense xD
team up, two contestants 'nuff said. vectors....3 contestants, i think i've made my point.

@Hika: Just because there was a lack on contestants these past two weeks, it does not mean the theme was poor. Enough of the bullshit. Its just that you guys don't want to apply yourselves. I found the vector theme quite refreshing and naturally thought it would've brought a different change of pace, but you guys being lazy and all didn't do shit =\

Like I said before, stop whining about themes, and start sig making!

Instead of complaining I'll enter my crappy entry to liven things up, I have no intentions of winning. I might be the only few to enter anyways *sad face*

Yeah, so pick the theme vector when majority of the members have never vectored or may not even know what a vector is. That's very considerate, damn seems like it was picked just so they'd win. We're lazy and didn't do shit? Didn't see you entering either. =/

Didn't I? Oh wait, I forgot, my Photoshop isn't working. My bad.

And yes, considering I want you guys to experiment more with different styles of GFXing, I thought it was a good theme. I want to see the other sig makers try out different stuff other than sig making. Sotws are good but they're not a good way of improving on an all. I understand most of you do it for fun, but don't you want to experience something other than just putting a bunch of cool effects on the average 400x120 pixel canvas and create a large art, something that expresses more than what a small piece of work can ever do?

Just wondering.

Eh. To be honest, most people find it more interesting to make sigs. There isn't much else to do with one of these programs. Sigs, avatars, vectoring, large art, photo manips. Either way, this is the SoTW. I say we stick to tags for it.

I'll probably make something tomorrow. Still trying to recreate Erock. Will try.

I agree with Vai, let's stick to sigs. It is SIGNATURE Of The Week.

If you want to do photomanipulation contests or some other shit, make a new contest for it. This one should be signatures only.

enough arguing. unless your going to post something that's related to the current sotw, then don't post.

And yes, this IS Mecha Sonic (From Sonic & Knuckles), NOT Metal Sonic.

EDIT: And you guys complain too much. If you don't like the theme, don't enter. Besides, why would you complain? I mean, I kinda thought angelic was picked because whoever picked it already made the sig to get an easy win, but vectors was actaully somewhat cool, since I didn't even know what a vector was. Some new things are pretty cool, despite a lot of effort to make. If you guys complain about trying out new styles, then I dunno how the future of SOTW is gonna turn out

And I didn't see complaining the first time tag teams were used in SOTW 18.
