All credit goes to greenfrogreid for the find. It's basically the same movie but with added (unfinished) deleted scenes and 2-3 extra tweeks near the end. Still a half assed film to say the least.

There can be several different reasons.
1 it a workprint. and it is.
2 there was no music there for the copy and it was added.
3 because it cool as hell!!

What ever the reason we can all agree that it was a grate way to end the movie.
am I right? I also liked the added the dragon ball flying in the air and into the credits. best part.

No that I believe that is in the alternate ending and not the directors cut.

Just watch the deleted/extended scenes on the DBE DVD. That's the only difference (scene wise) in this cut.
