PLOT :

Kagome leads a fairly normal life, in spite of her weird family. Her house is a thousand-year-old Japanese temple, and her grandfather talks about the history of the house endlessly. Legend has it that the old well on the temple grounds keeps a vicious ancient monster at bay; Kagome never believed those legends, until now. The well opens up and sucked Kagome inside transporting her to an ancient time of enchanted forests and giant demons.

Kagome is soon confronted by her odd resemblance to Kikyo, the girl who controlled the magical Shikon no Tama talisman and imprisoned the legendary half-demon Inu-Yasha. Upon entering this fantasy world, Kagome is attacked by a demon hunting the Shikon no Tama; she unwittingly releases Inu-Yasha from his imprisonment, only to find that he's no hero.

I know! I remember a time when I had found Inuyasha subbed episodes some 2 years back or so, but at that time, I was not a fan... I dl-ed 2 episodes just to test it out, and then forgot about it...

And now, that I AM a fan and I DESPERATELY needed those SUBBED episodes... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Your links were a Godsend gift! I could not even find raw episodes of Inuyasha. I thought, maybe if I could find them, I would dl both raws and dubs and console myself with the fact that atleast I can hear their real voices, even if I don't understand them... :cry: :cry:

I don't understand how anyone can like the dubbed anime... They completely cannot portray the emotions that are there in the Japanese voices... Code Geass is a sterling example! Lelouch's Japanese voice (Jun Fukuyama is awesome!) is so powerful! It fits his character and expressions so well! In comparison, the English dubbed voice, although good in its own right, is absolutely lack-luster... :cry: :cry:

I am so so glad that I found subs of Inuyasha! This has taught me to go download anime as soon as possible cos a few years down the line the subs might disappear... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

EDIT: Okay, so my VLC was ultra-mega outdated... MKV subtitles worked fine once I installed the latest VLC release! :)

You need to rename it to "index.rar", and then extract the video file using WinRAR.
