Anime before manga...

Has there ever been a tv show that inspires a manga? Where a TV show makes the storyline for the manga? Would it be a good idea and how would it affect fillers? debate this topic.

they make the animes after the mangas because they see the manga has a good story line and think they can profit off it by making it into an animated series and making it in colour and all pretty and shit wouldn't see the point in taking something in color and motion and putting it in black and white where you need to put the effort in to turn pages :(

They did make a manga after a Book. But i don't they have of tv shows or movies.

I know that they have made manga based off games... like the legend of zelda series, if they can do that then I see no reason why they couldn't do it with TV shows.
