hey everyone,

my name is Joe. i been a fan of dragonball z since the usa release on toonami but i like the saban version the best before funimation dubb it. i'm also a big fan of mr.toriyama-san. he's my favorite manga artist. i hadn't seen dragonball evoultion yet i know alot of people hated it but i still like to see it since i'm a big fan of the dragonball z series. i know this thread is about gohan whom isn't really my favorite dbz character. piccolo has always been my favorite dbz character. but i do like it when he becomes the great saiyan man and videl and pan are my favorite female characters. but i notice alot of people talk about who should play gohan in the sequel. but everyone is forgetting if they do have gohan in the sequel he have to look half-asian because of chi-chi. i look up the word chi-chi and the japanese meaning is either father or breast (which was a military slang in the late 20 century of japanese origin) the word chi means air, breath in chinese. but i'm not really sure if chi-chi is japanese or chinese in the movie. the actress who play her was korean.

well i'm just continuing the old gohan thread from dbthemovie forum. well we're not sure they could do the same thing as dragonball evoultion and have gohan be a teeanger like goku. i don't like the idea of having these big names like zac efron. i think the actor or actress should know how to fight. that's why i hated that about every big name movie has to have shia labeouf or samuel l.jackson

With how much they changed in the first movie, I wouldn't be surprised,really, if they made Gohan older.

I wouldn't be surprised if they left Gohan out of the sequel, but if they did keep him in I think they need to bump his age up to 10 or 11.

And how would the trilogy go for you? I always thought that having Piccolo in the first film, Vegeta and Nappa in the second film, and Freiza in the third film was the most logical way to go.

Represent each series in a movie.

First film is Pilaf Structure, Piccolo Villain.
Second movie is Saiyan Structure, Freeza Villain (with Vegeta as a henchman and eventual main character).
Final film is the Shadow Dragon saga. The dragonballs, being weak artifacts designed to battle Piccolo, can't with hold the two or three wishes made (largely to bring back human life). They erupt into evil Dragons and the heroes battle them, with Goku becoming the Legendary Super Saiyan that Vegeta describes himself to be in the two latter films. The story ends to years later, with Goku and Chi Chi now having a son, Gohan.

Shadow Dragons don't come in until Goku is at least fifty and Marsters said they wanted to make like seven of the films. Cides I'll watch anything DB releated once.

i hated it that everyone thinks dragonball af is real it's totally fake someone drew the drawings and most of them are color in. mr.toriyama-san himself said it's not true he is redoing dragonball z but so far it's only show on japan but you could maybe find it in subtitles on youtube it's called dragonball kai. he also did a special movie for shonen jump that takes place after the buu saga. i found that in english sub too. it also features vegeta's brother who looks alot like gohan to me. i found it on youtube.

Yes it is, but I've read the fancomic thats really convincing..Its AWESOME..its by Toyable, I made a thread here b4 about it..speaking of which I need to go find the newest part to it soon..btw: imo Gohan, if he wasn't confused because of him mom, would've possibly been stronger than Goku or Vegeta even..then again one could wonder if he already arguably was with his retarded yet strong Mystic Form.

I have seen plenty of mixed asian and european descent, and yes some vary, it does depend how strong the mother and father genetics are, but you can look both asian and european together. It also depends on lighting. I noticed in DBE, they used a yellowish or reddish light or filter to make Justin a little darker.

Well, about Gohan's looks. Saiyans do look a lot like eachother a lot. It is mentioned enough in the series. Even though Gohan is half-saiyan, he still has all the features his dad has: Spiky black hair, black eyes,... So IMO all the saiyans should look a like and because of Goku being white, so should Gohan, Vegeta and possibly Raditz and Nappa. But I wouldn't have any problem with Gohan being asian or whatsoever.

It amazes me that the majority of people that said they liked the film want to completely abandon Evolution's continuity and just make a clone of DBZ with a few elements of Evolution mixed in.
