Is Dragon Ball Good?

I've never seen it but have heard a lot about it. I was thinking about watching it if I liked the live action Dragon Ball movie. Is it better then Naruto or Bleach?

If you are gonna watch the anime find it in Japanese with english subtitles. Its more accurate to the manga.

japanese sounds are too faking gay, i can't stand it neither many other people lol

back to the topic, dragon ball is the best i gues, dbz was fine but i gues it had to stop after killing frieza, since goku did become the legendary saiyan, i believe it could be the great end. as for gt its not worth anyone's time since it failed, huge power gaps...

as for a new guy if u really wish to watch then i recomend to watch dragon ball its clasic and really funny also the dbz not so bad after all.

anyways db in all way beats bleach and gay naruto :)

I'm inclined to agree with alot others here, DB,Z,Gt all sounds and looks alot better in english dub. For one Goku actually sound like a guy in english. Although the Japanese version is closer to the manga it looks and sounds better in english.

Also, Yes, DB/Z/even GT are all good in my opinion and paved the way for alot other animes. Bit Dragon Ball will always remain on top

its a good anime to watch, it was one of my 1st animes. the action db movie is nothing like the real one since the movie changed a few things

Are you talking about the new one that is being released in 2009? Perhaps your talking about the low-production one from the earlier 90's?

Ive watched like one or two episodes...and did not understand it at all(probably cause it was in the middle of the series) so i don't know if its a good anime or not...

If you never watched dragon ball, you really did missed something. Good drawings, nice story and an hero you will never forget. Even being an anime, it revele profond feelings and lessons everybody forgot nowadays.
Hard work, honor, proodness.. all these nice and old principles fit in there.

Surf on the net; you'll find movies, pics, writings and even episods! If you get the "fan's fever", you have to see the gt even though it wasn't made by akira toryama.

Well, Dragonball is older than Naruto, put I like it, there's a lot of fighting, and some funny parts. Dragonball Z is when the main character is older.

DBZ PWNS On my opinion you don't need to watch dragon ball in order to see DBZ since they basicly have different story lines and you should watch it till the end I mean my fav. char. used to be Gohan but when I kept watching till the end it became Goten so ya you should watch it till the end:laugh:

yeah dragonball is better. its funny, great fight scenes! no flashbacks (like naruto n sometimes bleach) hardly any talking during some fighting sequences. da story is great n all of the characters were perfect!! great manga n anime. but when u think bout it. bleach n naruto were greatly influenced by dragonball. if u look at da characters n da way their storylines develope. u'll see alot of dragonball influence. so yeah u should watch it. ;)
