this is going to lead to some many theroys and stuff, not what i was expecting at all, i thought that the chapter would realy have very much relevance but it was great. the only thing i think could have been done a little beter was the ending with naruto's answer but all the other stuff was great.

Cool chapter i just got done reading it onemanga FINALLY FINALLY we might get some where haha i hope this all ends soon and we find out there this is going. best chapter since Naruto's dad showed up.

Looks like he summoned that thing and my guess it then released all the tailed beast into the world or maybe just one beast (nine tails) and to use it again he has to bring the tailed beast back? it idk lol dumb guess. :D

I am surprised and satisfied, very good chapter, my most loved Akatski member has extremely powerful technique with his body, we thought Konana will fight for him, but this changed now, even with sage kuuubi naruto can't stand against the king of hell attack.....but what surprised me is the way Hanzo died, he started used a jutsu to repel Nagatos ultimate attack but something didn't happen, i think Kishsi will get hanzo back, for me his death hasn't confirm yet.

I agree that its definetly a step further in the intrigue. I just wonder if everything is really going to go that easy. Do you see nagato giving in to such a stubborn answer that was just copied from Jiraya? I think that it's not an answer at all, unless the real answer comes in next chapter.
I don't think Naruto can take Nagato and Konan by himself if things don't go smooth. But I still believe that team Gai will arrive, try to attack Konan, Nagato won't be able to move to stop the attack but Naruto will stop their attack. I think this action will change his view of Naruto and of Konoha. He might consider him Jiraya's successor, see his will of fire and decide to leave his peace to him.

It was a spur of the moment thing. Nagato could not have known that Yahiko would impale himself on his kunai. If someone else moved to kill him then I would agree with you.

To address someone else. Hanzou did not die here. It seems he used his summon to get away. He is killed later on when they fight for control of amegakure.

Also I think Nagato was crippled from hanzou's fire attack. His legs were burnt pretty bad and summoning that statue could have been just enough strain for his legs to give out on him. That's just speculation though.

I'd say that those statues are the same. The similarities are far too close. Matter of fact, now that I think about it, Maybe THAT'S the ultimate weapon jutsu Nagato was talking about. I mean, it seems devastating enough. Plus, it kills off large amounts of people.

I think it was Shinra Tensei that Nagato used. I mean, those 2 jutsu's do seem far too similar. Also, I think that's when he finally learned of his true powers.

Seeing as many people Nagato knows died afterwards, I'll say that Hanzou got away. I mean, who else would have killed people off like that.

That Chapter was just horrible. That Jutsu that Nagato used was so out of date that is was extremely boring. Sort of like the many versions of Rasengan. Although, I'll rather watch the Rasen Shuriken more times than that Statue Jutsu. God, Naruto is getting boring and so is this site. It really has lost it's momentum. im sure their are others that would agree with you but I dont. This is just showing how much naruto loved and respected Jiriya and on top of that, he wouldn't chose the path Jiriya did just because of those reasons. He must believe in them like jiriya did.

Killing Nagato alone isn't really going to change Naruto's situation as of now.

Tobi is the mastermind behind Akatsuki, Nagato has no knowledge of Killerbee's escape. Naruto now knows Tobi is responsible for the Kyuubi's attack, and Akatsuki need to seal Killerbee before they can go for Kyuubi.

All killing Nagato would do is get revenge, where as keeping him alive for now allows Naruto go gain more information and opens the opportunity to actually convince him to switch sides, however unlikely that may be.

Well I do understand what you mean, but then again, your statement doesn't justify how lame Nagato's story was. I mean, a story is meant to captivate the audience and I'm quite sure that a lot of ppl agree that this chapter and the chapters from the past 3 weeks really hasn't caught anyone's eye. It seems like a downgrade instead of an upgrade. And I don't need to tell you that for a story to be great, it must keep getting better or else the series will lose it's fans. Honestly, Naruto Manga has gotten really boring since the Pein Arc, and is no longer my fav. I'm actually preferring Bleach at the moment and that hasn't happened in a long time.

I see what your saying still. I did truthfully expect the pain arc to be a lot better then it is now. Im just hoping naruto steps up the game man. Its not bad but it can be way better at this point. Naruto showed so much potential in its story before. I remember when the pages on threads used to reach 60 and up and now they cant even make it to 20.

Which is very true. Naruto is really maturing. You are absolutely right, killing Nagato is not going to change anything. Nagato does not know anything about Killerbee or Madara manipulating him for his own cause. As a matter of fact, like I have mentioned in the past, I'm not sure if Nagato knows about Hawk either becoming a part of Akatsuki. Madara may have just done all this behind his back, expecting him to have so much trouble. Just something to think about, I'm not completely sure if that is the case but it is worth considering.

Now is the time that we truly get a glimpse of Naruto's potential of becoming a valid candidate for Hokage. This event is a definite turning point for the character himself, and obviously wising him up and making him aware of real life problems. Its not all happy-go-lucky BS. So, even though he has stated that he will not kill Nagato, there still is much more to happen from this point. Will he try to convince Nagato that he is being used? Will he just end up fighting Nagato anyway? How exactly is Konan and Nagato going to respond to this?

It must've been hard walking with those huge rods stuck to his back, each probably weigh 50-100 lbs.

I have to admit,I despise this chapter,it feels like..Kishi was sitting down watching One piece episodes or something,then he got this wonderful idea to sum up Nagato's disabilities in one chapter.

I highly doubt that's what happened to his legs to disable him, if anything those burns he suffered only added on to what actually disabled him.

What disabled him was the summoning jutsu he used, He used it to much or he did something to keep it forever present as the hell statue that is currently sealing the bijuu. look at this. http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/447/09/ If you pay close attention to nageto's face and his cheek bone, you can see he looses fat, his face becomes more bone like rather then an ordinary face that has an even amount of fat on their face.

It would appear this justu is life threatening jutsu, it would seem to suck both spiritual and physical energy. Once again you can tell this because his face becomes more skeleton like or bone like.

That Chapter was just horrible. That Jutsu that Nagato used was so out of date that is was extremely boring. Sort of like the many versions of Rasengan. Although, I'll rather watch the Rasen Shuriken more times than that Statue Jutsu. God, Naruto is getting boring and so is this site. It really has lost it's momentum. Pl;us it seems odd that Hanzo would just randomly consider them a threat to his rule and work with Danzo and his Root Anbu to kill them (Danzo seriously is gonna get killed soon..between it being his idea to do the Uchiha massacre and this, he has too much blood on his hands..haha Danzo Hanzo Danzo Honzo..sorry couldn't resist XD) I also agree its obvious Konan knows of Nagatos abilities some and that it was a bad idea due to its drawbacks. (Which might or might not be more than the obvious) Its neat that the King of Hell statue is his summon. Really awesome in fact. I also find it neat he has Gravity Powers on his own (more reason I feel the pain bodies would be useless if he wasn't stupid and made himself immoble by summoning that statue..I doubt the leg wounds would've been permanent..I mean come on...Exploding tags?! The Statues powers are quite awesome though..even tho they seem a tad like Kyuubi's arm in the Naruto Vs Sasuke Valley of the end fight really...reminds me of Sussanoo in its own way...hmm maybe the tailed beats powering it wil somehow mean that next time he uses it, the statue wont make nagato worse..idk Funny how Hanzo assumes this means he was the one really pulling the strings..when it truth its he lacked the courage to do so and was a follower to Yahiko..who seems rather weak to have died so easy and to've fell for Hanzo's tricks so easily...aaand Nagato says woah again and again..psssh wierd if you ask me...pfft funny too XD (Woaaaaah ohh baby XD) used the Shushin jutsu eh?..and Nagato is smiling on page 13..wtf why? Though I must admit, Pains attude does remind me of myself. Well I do understand what you mean, but then again, your statement doesn't justify how lame Nagato's story was. I mean, a story is meant to captivate the audience and I'm quite sure that a lot of ppl agree that this chapter and the chapters from the past 3 weeks really hasn't caught anyone's eye. It seems like a downgrade instead of an upgrade. And I don't need to tell you that for a story to be great, it must keep getting better or else the series will lose it's fans. Honestly, Naruto Manga has gotten really boring since the Pein Arc, and is no longer my fav. I'm actually preferring Bleach at the moment and that hasn't happened in a long time.

Overall I did not care too much for this chapter, and as others have said it kind of feels like a let down. But they way this chapter is written kind of reminds me of a transition point in a story. It feels like that Danzo is becoming the main antagonist in this arc instead of Nagato. Nagato needs to die, following the story line to this point (Naruto refuses to kill him). I have a prediction that in the next couple chapters that Danzo starts his coup and Nagato kills Danzo (for his betrayal and Yahiko's death) and ends up killing himself in the process. After which Nagato ends up saying something like I entrust the future and Jiraiya's dream to you Naruto. If I am wrong and this chapter is not a transition point in the story than this chapter and the last few chapters extending back since the fight ended have been a real let down. Anyways does anyone see the transition point that I am talking about in the plot or am I just reading in to it too much again?

yeah i may flubb this one but i beleive in this manga it is reffered to as the sunshin no jutsu which is the japanese translation of the body flicker technique just like naruto's shadow clone technique is occasionally call "kage bunshin no jutsu" in the manga

I could agree with a bit of your post but the part i dont agree with is when you said all that about nageto following Jiriya around and fighting his urges. That wold not make much sense in a way. I Really good reason as to why both yohikio and Nageto respected Jiriya is because he was not like the tipical summery of a leaf ninja that they thought he would be. He was different.
