Hot Topic 17: Future Power

Okay this topic in my mind is not so well constructed. This si more like a theory but i believe it will become a very hot topic for future generation.s

You see in this world each country has a way they all keep their power. When one power is not liked by others or seen as a threat war erupts.

This could happen because one country is a democratic republic or a democracy or a dictatorship. The idea is will there eventually be one super power?

When we reach a future where space travel is possible, and meet other life forms. What will happen with all the country powers on earth? The most likely thing is that the world will pick a a president. The problem is how will the planets government keep it's power? Will it change every time a new president of the world is elected or what?

But, seriously though, I think that if we ever come to a time like that, we'll just make a new governmental system most likely. And then, we'll probably sooner or later get a world leader that makes us go to war with those other planets.

okay but how will you set up that government? if you try to pick a type of political power that not many people like what will you do? How will that government keep peace? You can't please every one.

Once again, this is too interstellar for me as I said. But also, I said most likely. If we don't meet in the middle like have some democracy here, a bit of communistic control when it comes to fair pay there, some monarchy spread around to make the political leaders more admirable, and dictatorship when it comes to the way the military is run.(Slightly seeing as you need to be incredibly fascist to be a true dictatorship.) Some type of war is going to start with each type of government stating that they are the best. That's the only way I can see everyone being pleased.

If it ever comes to that, we won't have to worry about establishing a world government...
But I'm kind of pessimistic, I guess, unless we start to change from rather egoistic and still xenophobic (not neccessarily the same as racist) societies/countries, we'll have a 3rd World war sooner or later. Which will possibly, if we're really unlucky, nuclear attacks and in the end, there'll be one country emerging as the winner. This country will than more or less become the ruler of the world....if there's anything left to rule.
