does anyone know or have their psp modded? mine is and can play download games and watch youtube. if yours is also explain the features.

I just basically play games from older consoles on mine... also it yells at me for turning it off.... and it shows a naruto theme song everytime i turn it on... theres other little things... but i dont wanna explain right now...

A friend of mine modded it so i can play Super Smash,Portal,and a dumb beta for mugen(which i deleted)but all that was really taxing for my psp's memory though...

You can put windows xp on your psp. It takes up alot of memory though.

I've never experimented with modding mine. Im sure it'd be great if it was modded, but I have refrained from doing so for the sake of keeping it intact in case I would screw up. I'd be intrigued to find out how to get some extra features on my PSP...

all you gotta do is download psp tube and get a directors(i think thats what its called)account on youtube

there be programs that convert normal videos (.avi, .mpeg and so on) into .mp4....mp4 is tha' video format of tha' psp...and you then just drag and drop'em in your video folder on your psp via USB

i modded mine and i mod others w/ my Pandora's battery and Magic Mem. Stick i just download games of tha net and also i like to use iRShell so i can play music while playing games also w/ iRShell i can use it as a remote and i can send files other than pics via WiFi my psp kicks a**:yell:

1st ur psp has to be modded then google iRShell oh and ur psp shud be on 3.80M33 up to 3.90M33

If I can get to my PSP soon, I'll tell you for sure, but I believe you have to go into the main folder 'PSP' and 'COMMON' should be in there.

I'm busy right now. But once I get some free time I'll find it on mine. But you can just make a folder and name it COMMON. It'll still work. You can do that for any folder. Music, Video, Theme. The only catch is that you have to put it in the right place. And like I said, I believe it has to be in 'PSP'

Itachi, be careful before u decide to mod ur PSP it can result that ur PSP will brick.

Is modding like hacking? My brother hacked his PSP and it got bricked, so he had his friend put a special battery in it that fixes that. I was just wondering if their the same thing..:nod:

Not hacking...a better word would be pirating. The PSP will brick, it has feature that won't allow you to mod it, but there are ways around it. Sony's okay with people trying to expand the capabilities of their console, they just don't like the fact that some people exploit the features and use modding as a way to make money of their own.
